17 guests' feedbackCarmiel is the most gracious hostess we've met for a long time. She made a point of checking on all our needs and joining us for a chat (without in any way impinging on our privacy). We felt by the time we left that we were friends with her. She personally served us a delicious breakfast the day we left. We had what was essentially a whole house to ourselves (originally built for Carmiel's parents-in-law), equipped with every mod con. Sitting on our private stoep admiring Carmiel's magnificent Water-wise garden, planted with spectacular succulents as befits the mainly dry climate at Patensie, enhanced the whole experience.
The apartment is in a lovely garden with beautiful plants and birds. Rooms impress with handy wall plugs. Sufficient and easily obtainable.
Hospitable and friendly reception by owner. Garden is a loop court! Breakfast was great. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to family and friends.

We were pleasantly surprised with the neat and beautiful place! Spacious rooms and lounge with a large screen television with full DStv. In addition, the friendly hostess received us generously and the fresh milk, fruit juice and watermelon were a delicious treat on a very hot day. In addition, there is a beautiful, private veranda overlooking the beautiful valley. Next time we stay longer! Ideal place to discover the Baviaanspoort from!

It is much more beautiful in living bodies and our grandson was in his element. It was a very nice experience. We were completely dumbfounded by the guest freedom of the owners of Highview guest house. The place was very neat and clean. The village does not have many activities, but the silence and the hospitality of the people make up for that deficit.
Highview Guesthouse offers very comfortable, well-furnished, neat and quality accommodation! Everything needed for self-catering is there and there is air conditioning in the rooms and also provisions for when it would be cold. Wi-Fi is also available. This accommodation offers ABSOLUTE value for money. The house is extremely neatly maintained and is convenient for larger groups as well. We had a great time staying here and this accommodation plus the hostess deserve 5 stars!
We had a great time! Just what was needed before we started the long road through Baviaanskloof. Nice spacious apartment, with everything you need and more. Camille's breakfasts were fantastic!
Wonderful people who just want you to feel at home. After a long day driving Gamkaskloof and Baviaanskloof, the tranquility was so welcome. Although each room has its own television, we didn't even turn it on because the tranquility was enough for us. I sat in the most beautiful garden, by a small waterfall and just experienced the beauty around me with appreciation. The place is a reflection of the beautiful people who live there.
