Please note there are no self catering facilities. We arrived expecting what had been booked only to find out it is a hotel stay. They went out of their way to be accommodating.
Very pleasant people, went out of their way for their guests. Food was delicious. They will see us again for sure.

My room had no window. There was a moist smell in the room. Toilet was not functioning well. We were informed that check-in was closing at midnight to find that they closed at 22:00. It took us a long time to check in as we had to phone around. We had to assist the security guy to carry our luggage. Linen was of a very poor standard.
It was very nice to be able to stay at the Hotel. The service was top quality and the facilities were of the same quality. The restaurant prices were very reasonable, although after a few days the choices become limited. We stayed in unit 21 and an air conditioner would have made the unit absolutely fantastic. I would recommend Hotel Billion to anyone anytime!
My concern is the bedroom arrangement and the beds.
Advertisement says free wi-fi, but only 1 person can use it and it only lasts for one day. There is no mention that you had to take your own towels for the bathroom. There is no small table in the living area at all to put any plate or cup on. Braai area is so small. We were 5 people, but only 4 can actually fit on the porch. Smoke is right in the living room on the porch, one's eyes burn terribly.
Enjoyed my stay, friendly and helfpful people. We were in a self-catering unit but it was convenient to eat at the hotel or bar. One of only a few places that can sleep a family of 5 in 1 room.
We were very well accommodated and received with friendly welcomes and smiles. My wife, son, and I enjoyed the vacation to the fullest. The food is excellent and service is beyond expectations.
Kindly ensure that blinds are fixed in all rooms and doors can close properly, room 17 door and blinds.
I feel that the alternative room should also get air conditioning because a roof fan is simply not enough. It's getting really hot! The braai on the balcony was extremely pathetic/weak and rusted so much that I didn't want to use it! The restaurant of the facilities is not too bad, although the menu for lunch and dinner also lacks more "oomph".
