Friendly service. Very nice and tidy, would definitely want to stay there again.
The food was very nice. Three options for breakfast and every evening there was a starter, 2 options for main course and dessert. The silence was amazing and the unit was very private with no disturbance during the time. The service was very friendly, owner came to introduce himself and shared information with us. Walking trail on site was good. False Bay park a few kilometers further also good for walking, cycling. Hour's drive from St Lucia. Amazing area for bird watching. There is generator for load shedding.
It's a lovely place to relax away from the city and it provides peace and serenity all round. The owner and his team are excellent hosts. It would be nice to have more Wi-Fi connectivity in the chalets.
Staff are friendly and helpful, delicious food and environment is nice, only about an hour from the sea.
Very disappointed with the pool, seeing that this is the only other recreational facility it should be properly maintained, was dirty and we could not use it.
We had a lovely time at Hluhluwe River Lodge. The location is perfect for exploring St Lucia and Hluhluwe. The food was fantastic!
The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is excellently located in the bushveld and just an hour's drive away you are at the sea.
I would like to thank the staff of the lodge for their kindness and professional conduct. Thank you very much for the delicious food and a clean, warm bed. I can recommend it to anyone.
