Was taken to our room and was asked what and what time we would like breakfast the next morning. Was out for the day on our return in the evening we had a barbecue and sat quietly and socialized.

We would have been mother and daughter who would have spent the night there, but preferred to let my husband sleep there for 2 reasons: 1) Unsafe (no burglar bars in front of windows). 2) Bathroom that was not en-suite, nor did it have the bathtub as in the photo. It was a big disappointment that the bathroom is separate from the room. There was also a lot of rest disturbance at night - voices and noise - as well as car alarms that went off, which caused my husband to actually not be able to sleep at all that night. The parking for the vehicles is also not safe, because there are no electric fences, and the gate does not close automatically. If I can I would like my money back.

We had a nice stay and received a delicious breakfast. It's a place that makes you feel welcome for sure and that has high standards. They would rather evict someone than let them hang out to dry.

Our aim was only to sleep over and this was met by the facilities.
Mary, the manager, is very eager to help and tries hard to make you feel at home. The bathroom in the room I was in is separate in the corridor. Breakfast was very nice.
We arrived on 1 June 2023, to be told that they have just taken over ownership. The previous owner left without informing us. The carpets were dirty and the new owners did not realise we had a booking. Our room was not serviced and bed was not made and no fresh towels were provided daily.
The place is not professional. The bathroom is across the hall, the fan's light you have to stand on the bed to turn off, the breakfast was ice-cold with hard sandwiches. The receipt book is a hard black bound book. At least it was clean.

It's in a very good location with easy access to the highway to get to the airport. Clean and neat rooms with friendly staff makes you feel welcome. And priced at a good rate. Perfect for those unexpected business trips.

Our flight was delayed and didn't arrive until later that evening, but Harry kindly accommodated us and quickly helped us. The glass bottle with water and coffee making facilities in the room was much appreciated after a long day as well as the nice hot shower with good pressure. We will stay here again in the future, it was very comfortable.
Good location, close to shopping center and highways. The rooms were neat and well furnished, a small fridge in each room would be a recommendation. Very good service and breakfast in the morning was nice. The cats roaming around there were a surprise because they are not mentioned in the advertisement of the place. Secure parking behind a closed gate which was good.

Our children who live in Pretoria were sick with Covid and we had to find another place to stay for Friday evening.
Place is cute, neat and safe. Unfortunately rooms next to each other. Guest next to us watched TV until 02:00 in the morning. Had a wonderful breakfast. Everyone is very friendly.
Bathrooms is not in the room and had to walk over the passage to the bathroom, 2 single beds merged that was really very uncomfortable.
They can certainly pay attention to their parking. If all the rooms are full then it is very cramped and you have to park very carefully and change your parking every time, there is no parking allocated per room.
The guest service is great.
The room had the dirtiest carpet I have ever come across. Our duvet was dirty and it looked like a cat (shedding a lot of hair) had slept on the bed before we arrived. What was more alarming was that we didn't see a cat anywhere for the rest of the evening or next morning. Whose hair was it then? The tub was full of marks as the enamel was broken. Curtains broken. Every dear piece of furniture or box was battered and broken. Was booked for two nights but decided to find alternative accommodation for night two. Avoid the place.

We found the place very quickly with Google, friendly reception, spacious room needs TLC. Clean, quiet and safe. Amazing shower. Light in the bathroom works with movement, a candle can be handy when you want to relax quietly in the bath. Delicious omelette and freshly baked bread for breakfast.
The yard is untidy and the photos are misleading. We will not go there again. The breakfast is not up to standard. The carpets in the room are dirty and the paint on the walls is peeling. All that was standard was the linen.

We enjoyed the Netflix although we would rather watch the Proteas match against England. DStv will be a big plus for Home at Harry's. Otherwise the atmosphere was very peaceful and we slept well. We only stayed one night. We were welcomed very kindly, the room was tidy and the bedding clean. Also plenty of clean towels available. Bathroom was very clean and there is soap etc. made available at the bath, the shower and the sink. More than enough hot water for both of us. Instant coffee in the room is top quality. There is no DStv, but Netflix. Nice close to a mall - easy to find. The owners were very friendly and made us feel very much at home without intruding into our space. We were even asked what time we would prefer breakfast. Breakfast was delicious and a lot of effort was made, top quality products were used. For a quick sleepover, you can't go wrong.

The owners of Home at Harry's are very hospitable and friendly. The area is very peaceful and close to all major routes and shopping centres. Breakfast is served at any time suitable to you from 6 am to 9 am. We had an upstairs room which is very spacious with plenty of cupboard space and a large en-suite bathroom with 2 washbasins, a shower and a bath. Home at Harry's met all our expectations.

My experience at Home at Harry's was great. Harry contacted me regularly to make sure we arrive safely. He also welcomed us with open arms. The room is beautiful and modern. The bed was nice and big and the duvet was soft and thick with a nice and fluffy blanket. We weren't cold at all. There was a nice deck outside the room, but unfortunately it was a bit to cold to sit on the deck. The next morning we enjoyed the best breakfast. Because it was so cold, they switched on a heater at breakfast so we could enjoy our breakfast with comfort. I will stay at Home at Harry's again anytime when I am in Johannesburg again.

I must say, it is value for money, very nice place and especially the woodwork and spacious space is nice to be calm after a long journey.
Had a lot of fun. Harry met us after we checked in, gave us the keys to return again late at night. Breakfast was delicious.
