Our host was gracious and hospitable, and went above and beyond to attend to any special requests which we had. The facilities and room were clean, neat and tranquil, and the place is safe and secure. We would definitely recommend it.

I would only suggest that the booking allows for booking breakfast.
One of the best B&B's I have ever stayed at and the hostess is super great will not even consider any other place in Klerksdorp or surrounds.

I would just suggest that maybe a fan or two should be placed in that cottage before it cools down there too on a hot summer day.

We stayed in the cottage and would definitely stay here again and recommend it as well. We were very warmly received and the hostess is very friendly and helpful should you need anything. The interior surprised and impressed us greatly. The decor is the best and most beautiful we have ever experienced in a guest house. The cottage is well furnished and has everything you need and the service is really good.
We had a great time staying in the beautiful and extremely comfortable apartment for 3 nights. Stylish and elegant decor. The apartment even has a separate scullery and pantry! Admittedly home away from home. A bonus is the lovely and peaceful garden which is impeccably maintained. Guest house setup has a farm atmosphere. Dot's food is very tasty and beautifully presented (both breakfast and dinner). Eric knows his stuff when it comes to barbecue. Home away is definitely a cut above the rest.
Private, clean and very comfortable but travelling with little kids I would have preferred the full package of DStv as there is only one kiddies channel available.

Home Away is a very clean, safe and quiet B&B in a beautiful garden. We relaxed beside the pool, restaurants are around the corner. A perfect choice to spend the night after a night in the plane from Amsterdam to Joburg.
Guest house is located in very peaceful surroundings. The hostess is in charge of everything. The food is of the above quality, nicely presented, prepared by the hostess. Rooms are very clean and tidy. We will definitely stay there again.

Go out of their way to make it pleasant for us.
The place is one green rest point in the city and yet centrally located. It's also near restaurants, shops and that big shopping mall. Home Away is convenient for the businessman as well as the tourist and the touring family. Only pity about the pool: it's really very small.
I am doing work on the mines in the area and require a place to stay that feels like home at a reasonable price. Nice, down to earth people. Also love the plot setup vs. live in town. Restaurants for dinner just around the corner from Home Away.
The people are also very friendly!
