Hornsnek 68 - Boekenhoutkloof is situated on a 7-hectare smallholding on the sunny foot of the Magaliesberg, Pretoria North West.

Accommodation is offered in 3 self-catering units namely Peter's Place, Dee's Hide-Away and Randolph's Cottage that can accommodate 5, 2 and 3 guests respectively.

Guests are welcome to walk or bike on the grounds.

For your convenience, there are burglar bars and an alarm system, and after sunset, guards patrol the area to make sure everyone is safe.

The main shopping centres are the Wonderpark Shopping Centre, approximately 12 km away, and Pretoria Central, a short 20 km east.

Hornsnek is close to the industrial areas of Pretoria North and West, Brits and Rosslyn. Furthermore, Hartbeespoort, Sun City and Pilanesberg are on the main routes with many smaller roads with interesting things and people.

Wonderboom, Lanseria and O.R. Tambo airports are all within an hour's drive, and the Hatfield Gautrain Station is a 30-minute drive away.

It is a beautiful piece of the world away from all the noise and stress of society. Nice and quiet, beautiful view, bird sounds, night owls zipping gently in the branches and the donkeys made everything worth it. Many thanks also to Sonia for all the care and effort.

If you love the farm like we do, this is the place. Friendly and quiet and clean!

"I actually just slept there because I was in a meeting from early morning until after 8pm. But I had a good time."

Sonia is one of the most hospitable people I have come to know. She met me at the gate and accompanied me to my lodgings and went out of her way to accommodate me. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and clean and tidy. Real farm-style accommodation that I could enjoy early in the morning. However, two things that need attention (and I pointed this out to Sonia) are firstly there are no signposts or signs where you turn off the main road (GPS was not helpful at all and I had to call Sonia to get the right turn ) and secondly the access road from the main road definitely needs attention. Visitors must drive very slowly to avoid damage to tires.

"The most amazing stay ever! "

The pictures do not do this place justice it's so much more gorgeous, spacious and so homely! My jaw dropped in amazement at the beauty of this place. My family and I had an amazing stay, we did not want to leave. The place exceeded our expectations and Sonia went out of her way everyday to make our stay as amazingly awesome as possible. When we arrived we found that she added beautiful extra touches which bought us so much delight! We were looking for a different yet fun experience and we really got that and a million times more! Our Christmas was incredible our new years eve even better. I don't think we will ever book anywhere else in Gauteng. Everyday we got little surprises from Sonia which added such a great and heart warming feeling. We felt so at home, I think we were all in tears on our last day there as we wished to stay longer. God bless Sonia's warm and caring heart. What an excellent stay.
