Very nice, well furnished. Will go there again for a weekend. Don't rely on GPS navigation though. Get directions from the host instead. Quite difficult to find in the dark.

Friendly owners and scones on arrival a very nice surprise! Less than an hour's drive to OR Tambo and that is why we chose the accommodation. Everything one needs for a pleasant stay was available.
The house is very well equipped. The shared kitchen, lounge and dining room is very spacious and feels almost like being at home. The surroundings are very beautiful and the tranquility comes naturally. Ideal for parents with children with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Very nice stay in Ibis 1 and there are friendly hosts. Everything provided that could be needed and located next to a beautiful pond. Super nice bath in an old-fashioned paw bath. Is the type of place where one can easily spend a vacation. About 10 minutes' drive from Heidelberg.
Lett and Dirk are very friendly and helpful. Guest house is quite difficult to find and signal is poor which makes communication difficult. Not ideal for a business trip. Ibis Nest 1 and 2 which have shared kitchen, dining and living room is quite awkward when the people don't know each other. Ideal for a family or family getaway.
The spacious grounds and attractive small lake make it a restful place for a short stay. Very friendly and helpful hosttess. Great value for money.

I was moved from room without notifying me. The room I was moved from a single room with private bathroom with a large bed to a single bed room in a shared house. It is extremely unprofessional and then there should at least be a price courtesy.
I would definitely recommend this place, and will use again.
The hospitality of Lettie and Dirk greets you on arrival. The row of poplar trees leads one to the neat lawn and Willow trees along the river. The silence is palpable and you can kick off your shoes and relax. The neat and tastefully equipped living facilities make it easy to enjoy yourself. If you are looking for peace and quiet, Ibis Nest is at the top of the list for me!
Lettie and Dirk go the Extra mile in every department of the Guesthouse.. Cleanliness , decor, kitchen facilities, bedrooms, bathrooms, attention to detail and mostly their hospitality is exceptional... worth the short trip from the route 42

Ibis Nest guesthouse is situated on a stunning property with stunning views. The owners are pleasant, kind and considerate. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable. Lovely linens and comfortable beds. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The towels were of a high quality. The kitchen equipment all good and clean. Good value for money.
The lovely, peaceful atmosphere of the vast lawn that reaches the stream creates a holiday feeling. Us 3 girlfriends stayed at the 2-bedroom guest house with fully equipped kitchen. The place is beautifully furnished, extremely neat and comfortable. Lettie goes out of her way to provide all sorts of extras. It was a lovely couple of days. Thank you Lettie!
Our stay at Ibis Nest exceeded all expectations! Nothing was missing. Aunt Lettie made us feel so at home and even treated us to some muffins for breakfast! The surroundings and stream that passes near the guest house create a perfect atmosphere of tranquility and peace. We would go back again anytime to escape the hectic life!

Very nice environment and slept well. Bathroom cold tap didn't work, but still lovely bath in old fashioned clawfoot tub. Owner has put a lot of effort into taking our Karan Beef with a farm path. Much hospitality was experienced. Would definitely recommend and will be back myself.

A wonderful, relaxing experience in beautiful surroundings with green grass and trees stretching to the river - pure tranquility! The host was friendly, helpful, and lovely. She did everything in her power to make you feel at home, but she was never overbearing. As I wrote in the guestbook: "We had a lekke time!"

It is a great getaway destination as it is so close to the bustling cities. I am very happy that I was also able to stay there, as I had to stop at Volksrust in Heidelberg.
