This open-plan garden cottage can accommodate up to 3 guests and is located next to the owner's house. The cottage comprises a sleeping area, a bathroom, a kitchenette and a small seating area. The sleeping area is furnished with a double bed, a single bed and also a laptop-friendly desk with a chair, a light and power plugs. Bedding and towels are provided. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a large shower, washbasin and a toilet. The kitchenette is equipped with basic appliances such as a fridge, 2-plate stove, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Complimentary coffee, tea, rusks and drinking water are provided once on arrival. The unit also has a DStv.
The cottage has 2 private doors of which leads out to a lovely patio area that has outdoor patio furniture and braai facilities. The patio overlooks the spacious garden with a fish pond, which attracts a large variety of birdlife. Undercover parking is provided for guests.
Prominent trees on the farm are marked with tree identification tags. Bushbabies, squirrels, mongooses, duikers and other small animals are frequently spotted on the farm. The sunsets here are quite unique and at night one can see the bright starry sky. The farm offers a quiet and peaceful environment which makes it an ideal destination before continuing the journey.
Due to heavy rain the last few days, the gravel road is currently not suitable for small and very low vehicles.

Wonderful stay with a fully equipped unit! Lovely warm shower, delicious rusks and lovely accommodating hosts. As a single female I felt very safe here. I highly recommend a stay here to recharge.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at "In Da Bush", where our hostess made us feel most welcome. In the morning we were woken by the chatter of birds which were frolicking in the beautiful, well-kept garden, richly adorned with indigenous plants and trees. The spotlessly clean cottage is well equipped for self-catering with domestic utensils, and the bed is most comfortable. We recommend a stay at "In Da Bush" as a most welcome and rejuvenating break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
It was a very pleasant stay. The host, Ilse, was very friendly and flexible. The place was very nice, clean, and spacious. The room had everything you need and felt homely.

If you are looking for a place that is out of the way, quiet and serene while still being super affordable then this is the place to go! We were warmly welcomed by the owner and felt immediately relaxed in this bush/farm-style environment. "In Da Bush" is the ideal place to go and recharge your "soul batteries"! The room is very spacious and has all the necessary amenities. The patio with an open view of the property is ideal for a lazy day in the sun while perhaps reading a book and sipping on a coffee or other beverage, not a noise to be heard other than that of the nature around you. The undercover braai area exclusively reserved for the visitor is really a nice touch. Only aspect that is perhaps less than perfect would be the bed/mattress being somewhat too soft and unsupportive for the larger person or two persons. A note on the area and not the venue itself would be to be aware of the rather long dirt road leading to the location that is not suited for vehicles with low ground clearance.
In Da Bush is beautiful and painfully neat. The birds, guinea fowl, pheasants, pigeons and the sweet little frogs at the fish pond were from another world! Enjoyed it so much. Beautiful people and the kindness itself. Thank you, we really enjoyed it and will definitely visit again.
Don't follow Google! Last traffic light before the bridge on main road to N1 - turn right and follow the instructions. Place is very neat with everything needed. Host Frits and his wife are very helpful. Breakfast outside under cover in garden was delicious.
Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ilse and two cute dogs. From the start upon arrival to our departure we were treated like royalty. The accommodation is on a farm. Our section was very neat, large and very private. We even had our own braai area. WiFi was a bonus. Ilse and her husband are very pleasant people. Would definitely recommend In Da Bush to a couple who just want to get away and relax. If I have another opportunity to spend the night in Modimolle, it will only be at In Da Bush. Thank you guys.
In Da Bush is on a farm in the Modimole area and was a truly pleasant experience. Ilse went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The directions to the farm were clearly marked.

It is very peaceful and quiet. Neat and the reception was warm.
But it's far out of town and the road to it is a dirt road that should not be taken with a normal vehicle. Definitely needs a higher vehicle. 4Km sandy dirt road. The bed is also just an ordinary double bed and not suitable for heavier people. Peaceful atmosphere in the forest. Everything is there that one needs. Large, spacious room and bathroom. Delicious hot water. Fresh milk and cold water in the fridge and nice biscuits. Good place to stay or for a few days bad of everything. Dirt road from town. 4Km corrugated iron and sandy road.
The freshly squeezed orange juice is some of the best I've ever had and was an absolute treat! We will definitely recommend your place and visit again if we are in the area. Thank you for the hospitality.
We were in Modimolle for a rugby tour for my son. The place was initially intended for two people. But we needed a place for three people. Ilse was very kind and specially provided an extra bed for my teenage daughter. Ilsa, your service was excellent and we were very impressed. Many, many thanks for your kindness, good service and for a beautiful place. We will definitely visit again if we are in the area again.
Very calm and quiet, can relax properly.
The hostess carried us on her hands. We arrived late which resulted in gates having to be left open and closed after our arrival, which the hostess did with a smile. We were tired and worn out after a long day on the road, but the hostess arranged for enough dry wood and a barbecue, so we could relax by the fire and recharge our batteries. The unit has everything needed for self-catering. We will definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises.

In Da Bush is located on a farm not far from the town, the place has a very peaceful farm feeling, people are very friendly and hospitable. Inside - spacious room, nicely decorated, very clean and tidy with the essentials you need. Outside - large garden with nice covered braai area (enough wood is provided). Would love to stay there again.
Nice, peaceful, quiet, farm atmosphere with a beautiful garden full of birds. We are bird watchers and really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the birds. The guest house is spacious, tasteful and neat. It's convenient, we didn't lack anything. We had a nice barbecue in the afternoon and later went for a walk on the farm. The owners are very friendly and helpful people.
Nice bathroom and kitchen have all the necessary facilities. It was nice to sit by the lapa and enjoy the forest. Ilse is hospitable and immediately made us feel at home. Would recommend In Da Bush anytime as a place to stay. We enjoyed it and would like to go back again. We were looking for a place to stay in Nylstroom and In Da Bush was perfect.
The place and people surprised us. They contacted us early, helped where we struggled, kept us informed of loadshedding, went out of their way to accommodate us.
The hostess helped us with an earlier check-in time. The place is lovely spacious and equipped with everything you would need for an overnight stay. It's always nice to have a container of cold water and fresh milk in the fridge when you arrive on a hot day. Thank you very much!
Warm welcome by the owner. They were friendly to us. They made us to feel like we were at home.
There is not much going on in Nylstroom (Modimolle), but there is a lot to do in the area. Ilse gave us some suggestions and we went to many of them such as Nylsvlei Nature Reserve, Geluksfontein Goats cheese and many others. We really enjoyed the long weekend and the hosts were very friendly, helpful and good to us without being too much of a bother.
In Da Bush is a convenient distance outside Nylstroom (Modimole). The unit is located in a beautiful garden with native trees and plants. We were kindly received by Ilse and she made sure we had everything we needed. The unit is spacious with a small kitchen, dining table, desk, armchairs and comfortable double bed. There is a lapa where you can relax and even barbecue. The kitchenette is equipped with stove or microwave oven if you want to prepare your meal inside. A very spacious bathroom with a nice big shower and soft towels. You can book there.
Very welcoming hosts, definitely self-catering but there are restaurants in town if you don't mind the dirt road.
