11 guests' feedbackBeautiful location, very clean with lots of room. Will absolutely be back for another visit! Only downside was there were a lot of flies coming into the house on the last day. I understand there's a chicken farm nearby. Hopefully pest control measures can be implemented
We had a relaxing weekend in a clean and well managed establishment. Wonderful hot showers, bright white linen, what more can you want? Melody is an excellent hostess. The venue is best booked in its entirety. Having said that, we were fortunate to share with a group of respectful youngsters. There are chicken farms and cattle in close proximity and therefore flies can be pesky. Take fly candles to shoo them away. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful stay at Jackal Hill. Melody was very helpful and friendly. Delicious fire made in the fireplace every evening. The lapa is a festival and could enjoy the beautiful sunset every afternoon with a cup of coffee from the lapa. We also saw goats grazing. The porch gets lovely morning and afternoon sun and it's lovely to sit there and read or watch wildlife. Will come here again.
Wonderful place, such beauty! Just the flies that were quite a lot, that needs attention, but would definitely be back! Had so much fun!
The weekend away was great. The place is neat and tidy, and my dog just loves it. We were welcomed with a big smile. My only negative comment will be that there was no dish cloth to wipe counter tops, etc. There is no real hiking trail.

Thanks to Daniel for his helpfulness and kindness. He made sure we were comfortable. He frequently inquired to see if we might need anything. He was amazing. The chalet was clean and very spacious. There was everything in the kitchen needed to prepare meals. Maybe only fly cherries can be planted. That was all that bothered.
Jackal Hill has so many different felt species that it makes peace with a few other animals.
