Had a great stay. Bedding was of good quality and the place was clean. The place is between permanent residents, so silence and tranquility are important to others. It is not ideal for guests with children or a busy group of friends.

No internet facilities available. Television (DSTV) is owner controlled. One night it was turned off at 22h00. The second night after we spoke to the owner it was on until 00h00.
The accommodation is acceptable for the price, but the 13 narrow and shallow steps to reach it are problematic - especially difficult to carry heavy items up and down. Nor is there any view from the two windows and glass main door other than Paternoster's rooflines.
So nice clean and tidy and exquisite decor. Felt like our home. Uncle Chris and Aunt Elmarie made us feel so at home and you didn't need anything there, every need was thought of. Would recommend it with an open heart. Thank you for allowing us to visit you, it will remain a pleasant memory.

A well located and extremely cozy place for two people who just want to get away. It's relatively close to the town center and therefore all the entertainment. Our hostess was an angel and went the extra mile to make my wife's birthday special. We loved the warmth and coziness of the place and would go back any day, just for longer.

Amazing, even allowed us to bring our 5 month daughter with which was such a beautiful experience for us. The loft was very tidy and well furnished we had everything we needed.
The place was cute. There was everything we could need. Nice braai place with a nice view. It felt like a second home on the west coast.
My wife and I were here for Easter weekend and it really is a very nice and tasteful place. The loft itself is very well furnished and there are also nice gardens around the houses in the complex. We had everything we needed, e.g. towels and kitchen utensils. The bed sleeps great. The owner is very well informed and gave us good advice about Paternoster, for example about restaurants and safety on the beach. I can definitely recommend it. Now it's not ON the beach, but it's only a few minutes walk and you can reach the beach very easily on foot, so the location is also very good.
My husband and I didn't arrive until 7 o'clock in the evening and then quickly drove to buy groceries, so we didn't light the fire until about 8 o'clock and started relaxing on the porch. Due to the nature of the matter, we only ate later. We received a call just after 11 o'clock asking us to stop talking because the stoep is within earshot of people who live there. I was a little taken aback and it put a damper on our stay. We just had a nice chat? I will not stay here again. There are many beautiful places on Paternoster that will allow you to just chat and relax without admonition. However, if you like to go to bed early or watch some TV in your room, this is the place for you!

Jongnooientjiesfontein is a loft apartment with lots of space and more amenities than one would expect. A nice stoep with braai facilities and cute seating is right in front of the door. Very neat and also modern accommodation with beautiful kitchen style. Nice getaway that even accommodated baby!

Fantastic, simple, beautiful place, walking distance from the ocean and shops. Cosily furnished with a heater and ample warm blankets for cold nights. Our weekend at Jongnooientjiesfontein was great. The accommodation was exactly what we were looking for. Great weekend getaway.
Inadequate blankets and no hairdryer. My husband kept knocking his head because the ceiling is very low at the one side of the bed.
We were very kindly welcomed upon arrival. Kitchen, etc. was very well equipped and everything had been thought of, so that we could enjoy our stay there comfortably and comfortably. We highly recommend it for sure.
Neat little place, but when we arrived on Sunday there was no milk, but coffee, tea and some biscuits (which were very nice - thanks for that). We couldn't find a store open that supplies milk, and the hostess at least "lent" us milk that we had to buy back. There were no soaps or shampoo in the shower either. This sometimes makes it difficult for people who fly and can't/don't want to carry everything together on the plane. It's something silly, but important to certain people.
Very bad reception by owner. We paid for our daughter for a mattress in the room, and owner refused to put one. She only put it in when the LekkeSlaap agent talked to her about it the next day.

I really can't remember the last time we stayed in such a neat little place. Excellently equipped and so clean you could eat off the floors.
We really relaxed a lot at Jongnooientjiesfontein. Very tidy place, as well as everything in the kitchen: plates, glasses, wine glasses etc. Was just disappointed in bed. It was two single beds pushed together and not one king size bed as indicated in the description.
The facilities were very good. Just a pity it's far from the sea.

The place is not on the ocean and doesn't really have an ocean view, but it suited us because we wanted to relax and be peaceful. It was dead quiet in the complex and we felt safe at all times. Jongnooientjiesfontein catered for my every need. It's quiet, private, and ideally located. Elmarie (The proprietor) was very flexible on checking in and checking out times whilst being friendly and welcoming. The decor has a nice modern finish and was extremely clean throughout. The DStv was an added bonus especially for those days where the weather may not be too kind. Thumbs up all the way!
