The living area opens up onto a patio area which has a picnic table and braai facilities. The patio overlooks the game farm where wild game like eland, black wildebeest, springbok, cape mountain zebra, and the elusive cape fox can be seen. There is also an abundance of birdlife. A hot tub can be provided and is available at an additional cost.
Surrounding activities are mountain biking, hiking, bird watching, and wine tasting.

18 guests' feedbackVery disappointing. I feel that we were led astray by false marketing. The main attraction of the stay was the KolKol bath. We then had to hear on the last night that we had to pay R250 rand per day for it. Unacceptable.
Wow what a beautiful location for a weekend away! We loved our two nights at Just Be! The room was clean and cosy, the kolkol Jacuzzi worked great and the scenery and animals were a delight. Highly recommend Just Be if you want a unique experience and space to relax.
At JustBe you can sit back, kick off your shoes and just lazily enjoy the nature around you. Drive through the farm and view the animals and nature.
We enjoyed every minute of our weekend at JustBe! From wallowing in the KolKol hot tub, our delicious platter enjoyed on a spectacular sunset game drive, to beautiful early morning walks with zebra, wildebeest and springbok all around us and of course the fantastic outdoor shower with nature all around. We can highly recommend JustBe Farm Retreat!

Very quiet and very secluded, if you just want to switch off and do nothing. Nice Kolkol hot bath for relaxing and getting rid of the lumps.
Proposal: Investigate the possibility of moving the Kol Kol closer to home. If the weather conditions are bad, the Kol Kol basically cannot be used.
It was wonderful, cozy farmhouse with a beautiful view of the farm. Our boy really enjoyed the moose and springbok. A bonus was the wood fire hot tub.
The standard of the cottage is superb and well equipped for self-catering and a very comfortable stay. The game drive was an enjoyable experience. The location of the cottage affords one some spectacular views of the landscape and the mountains. However, I would have appreciated some prior information on the check-in process. I do understand the no face-to-face policy, but the radio at the gate was defective and this resulted at a long wait outside as no one answered my calls. Necessary guidelines for our stay were only communicated at 18:00.
The views from the cozy cabin were amazing. And the walk around the front of the property! I literally walked 3 km in the same grazing field with zebra, eland, wildebeest and springbok! The drive through the place was absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for a peaceful quite place to rejuvenate alongside nature, this is it!!
Our hosts Lillian and Jan went out of their way to accommodate us. We thoroughly enjoyed the additional shower outside and loved the Kolkol hot tub. We also appreciated the complimentary rusks, milk, tea, coffee, sugar and ice. Be sure to try some of their meat products, we are totally in love with the Eland sausage. Be sure to stay at this retreat, it has a beautiful view and it is so peaceful to watch the Eland, horses and other animals. We also spotted an owl on one of our walks. We highly recommend JustBe Farm Retreat.
If you want to get away from it all and just relax, visit JustBe Farm Retreat. Facilities are excellent and the owners friendly and helpful. It's a short stretch of dirt road, so preferably drive with a vehicle with some ground clearance. We will definitely visit again.
5 star. Little things like chocolates, ice, rusks and 1 hour game drive was included. Friendly.
The cottage on the game farm had been an experience. Very safe and everything one needs for a peaceful getaway. Ian went out of his way to help us with everything. The game drive was a big bonus!
Positively surprised by this little rustic place. Loved the coziness, the convenience of a porch fireplace and enjoyed the outside shower.
Very comfortable accommodation, far from the madding crowd. We enjoyed a midweek break and loved our stay, no fuss or fancy mod cons, but it was just as we wanted it.
From the beginning we were received kindly and a lot of effort was made to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The free game drive was a surprising highlight.
