Great overnight stop where you can camp on grass under the trees and swim. Excellent hosts who treated us to mouth-watering home-baked bread shortly after arrival!

Although the accommodation was nice and comfortable and the hosts Patrick and Hercules made us feel at home, the only issue was the fact that the bathroom did not have a shower. There is a hand shower, but it's uncomfortable for older people.

The place is beautiful. Our bed was nice to sleep on. The owner is very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
My son and I were staying over to attend an auction. Patrick was punctual in providing a pin drop, checking on our progress and meeting a request for braai facilities. We had a lovely evening around the fire and a wonderful night's sleep in the neat, welcoming accommodations. We will definitely visit Kameel Rust en Vrede B&B when visiting the area or travelling through in the future.

Very good value for money. Very friendly staff. Bathroom complex should get some attention in terms of privacy and the pillows could be replaced with comfortable, quality pillows. Meals are very enjoyable and deliciously prepared.

Patrick and Hercules did everything to make our stay pleasant, and the breakfast was something to write home about. We had a very nice stay.
We were received very kindly by the owners. Over the course of the weekend, they often made sure that everything was okay with us. The campsite is well maintained. The ablution is basic and clean. We are not picky about equipment in camping, but whether what is there is clean and works. We were able to walk around the farm in the field which was also very nice. The bird life is special. There is a farm pond that serves as a swimming pool and the birds drink water. We sought peace and quiet and that's exactly what we got. We definitely want to go camping on Kameel Rust and Vrede again.
The unusual accommodation of a caravan was a treat. We were warmly welcomed by Patrick and Hercules. There was abundant wood for the outdoor fire and the complimentary port soothed us into some amazing star-gazing. The breakfast was a treat with home-made jams and preserves. It was more than enough to send us on our long journey to Mokala National Park.
Very good and friendly reception, a lot of effort was made, because we wanted to barbecue in the evenings, even though we stayed in the guest house. Everything neat and clean and a very peaceful place.
We enjoyed the weekend very much, Patrick immediately made us feel at home and prepared the most delicious food for us. Will visit them again.
The accommodation is somewhat basic compared to other places we've stayed at in SA, but very comfortable. The hosts, Patrick and Hercules, go to great lengths to ensure that you are cared for and well fed. Well fed is something of an understatement. We had planned to just have an evening meal on our first night because we'd just made (for us) a long journey from near Botswana. We were so pleased with the food that we ate there every night. It was wonderful, easily up to restaurant standard - but don't tell too many people, everyone will be going there! Being able to walk around the grounds and what was the farmland was a great treat, like a walking safari but without the animals! The special treat that Hercules and Patrick laid on for us on our last day was incredible beyond words. It may not be our last trip to South Africa after being so well looked after.
It is a nice and tasteful stopover away from the main routes. The breakfast is delicious.

We arrived at one o'clock in the morning and Patrick received us very kindly. It was a lovely experience to stay here. Definitely an option if we travel in that world again!
We enjoyed it so much. Just relaxed in the tranquility of farm life. Patric and Hercules made us feel so welcome and at home, as if the place belonged to us. The food was delicious and with more treats in between I think we put on quite a few kilos. I can really recommend the place to anyone looking for some relaxation for the soul.
