Brilliant all round. All round great value and excellent.
Great hospitality by the hosts.
This place is sooo beautiful and peaceful and Dinny is a wonderful hostess. The permanent residents there were also friendly and helpful. It's more expensive than the other places in Gouritzmond, but it's safe and you also have your own beach.

The Periwinkel double-storey house can accommodate up to 10 persons and is situated on the banks of the shoreline of the reserve. This holiday home comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a guest toilet. Three of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor; 2 of the bedrooms each contain a queen-size bed, and the third room has 1 single bed; the fourth bedroom is a loft that is equipped with 5 single beds. Upstairs, there is 1 bathroom with a shower and a basin, and a separate guest toilet. The second bathroom is downstairs and has a shower. The open-plan kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, a chest freezer, a microwave, a gas stove, and a selection of crockery and utensils. The adjacent living area offers a large wood-burning fireplace where a potjie pot can be used. The living area leads out to a covered verandah, which offers an outdoor table with seating overlooking the boma braai area and the ocean.
