No expense has been spared to make sure guests are 110% comfortable and at home. The hospitality of Aunt Siena and Uncle Norman is frankly unparalleled. Uncle Norman went out of his way to make sure our stay was nothing short of perfect. I would suggest that if you plan to spend the night at Karoo Karos, you arrive there nice and early, or stay for a few days, as there are so many attractions such as e.g. the painted stones, the garden and all the objects carefully placed around the guest house. We will definitely visit again, and this time definitely stay longer!

I travelled for work with a colleague and we both really enjoyed our stay at Karoo Karos. Our hosts are very friendly and helpful (for example, when the local power went out they supplied us with a gas cooker and a lamp). Ladismith is also a quaint town with several good restaurants and is situated very close to the Swartberg. I hope to stay at Karoo Karos again soon!

The garden and accommodation is beautiful. We found the place very comfortable. Extra information regarding Ladismith and surrounding area was shared with us and we found that very interesting. The one thing that strikes you about Karoo Karos is the beautiful house and garden created by the owners. We stayed in a detached unit behind the house in the beautiful garden. The unit sleeps 3, has an en-suite bathroom, kitchen and living area. Everything very tastefully decorated and well equipped. There is a braai area available outside. Parking is also available under a carport, away from the street. The owners are also happy to come and chat, and are really very helpful and friendly.

This cottage consists of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and a separate kitchen and lounge. This 4-sleeper unit can accommodate up to 5 guests with 3 guests sleeping in the bedroom and 1 in the lounge. If the extra guest is a child, the unit can accommodate up to 5 guests if it is arranged in advance. The bedroom has 1 queen-size bed and 1 single bed, whereas a single bed and a sleeper couch that doubles as a sofa are available in the living room. The cottage has a private garden and shaded area that serves as an area to relax, as well as a coal stove for the cold winter evenings. Rates are based on 2 guests, but can be adjusted if there are more than 2 guests.
