9 guests' feedbackThe unit was spacious and clean. However, Wi-Fi as advertised was not available and there was no cell phone signal, which made it difficult for us to plan our next day's trip.
As two friends on motorcycle journey through the Karoo, we were happy to share a bathroom but you not only have to walk through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom, there was no shower and not enough hot water to run two baths one after another. If you are a couple and don't mind sharing bath water like my wife and I do, then you will be comfortable here (as I was in the end), but two independent biker friends, not so much. My mate actually booked into the hotel down the road. Then we were both happy! I also had to ask for a rubbish bin when there should have been one in each room and one in the bathroom, and was also miffed that the bathroom window was wired shut and the front door had no lock on it, although there was a security door with a padlock.
Doesn't look like the photos at all. Front porch was bare with no chair or bench. Just a roll of fox wire lay there. Later in the afternoon it was fixed between some pillars with wall nails with great noise, don't know its purpose. There was only a kettle, no microwave or stove to cook or heat anything. No porridge bowls or plates to eat out the next morning. The water only ran with a very small trickle and no hot water in the evening. Only one side a very faint bedside or reading lamp. Of course not Wi-Fi and TV. If the rate was half that, it would still be acceptable, but it was actually more, or the same as the very nice places in George, Keurboomstrand, Kaap St Francis, Uitenhage, and so on.
It is good value for money and nice and clean. We had a great stay.
The house was well furnished and was clean had a good time. Very centrally located and the service was good.
Pretty much a bed and a basic bathroom/shower. The host was very attentive and helped as best he could. Power in the town was down from 06h00 to late afternoon due to non-payment by the municipality!
Beautiful town, neat. Beautiful old buildings. Hotel is from another world. Hotel reception is warm and hospitable.
Place is not clean, covered with mosquitoes, sleep was impossible. It's not a B&B, much less self-catering. There is nothing, only a kettle, no microwave or stove to cook or heat food. Broken blinds on window, no curtains, people looking inside bedroom. Owner not helpful at all. Would not recommend it.
One night is enough. It would be nice if each room could have its own bathroom.
