Alta and the children are pleasant hospitable people who ensure that everything is in order and that guests are comfortable. We had a great rest and really enjoyed the animals and environment!

Had a wonderful overnight stay and met many hospitable people. Definitely a place I want to visit again.
The place to stay was extremely well equipped, spacious and with all equipment that could be needed for a self-catering holiday. Good provision to cope with load shedding, e.g. a gas stove. Alta, the hostess, was very friendly and helpful. The road there can be challenging at times. It had rained a lot recently and the roads were washed away.

Karoo Rustigheid Gasteplaas accommodates 6 adults and 4 children.Great, fresh lamb braai packs are available on request at an additional cost.
Braai wood is available at an extra cost.
Please note, there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
There is a gas stove and rechargeable lights in case of loadshedding, as well as a solar geyser.
Only small dogs are allowed with prior arrangements.
An extra cleaning fee will be charged if guests bring a dog.
