Very clean, tidy and comfortable.
Fantastic, friendly staff, attentive service, comfortable rooms, homely meals, ice cold beer and all set in a tropical well-kept garden and a wonderful pool and pool area.
Just a pity the website didn't do the correct booking. And food still had to be paid extra. Quite a few rand difference.

What a wonderful experience to stay in the Karula Hotel for the weekend! We experienced the warmest and friendliest welcome and service from the owners and staff. The owners are directly involved in the hotel and together with their wonderful staff make the guests feel so welcome. The rooms were beautiful, neat and comfortable and wonderfully chilled. The meals (breakfast and dinner) are top notch! At Karula Hotel you get value for your money and are a real gem in the Lowveld!
Absolutely no complaints. The rooms were spacious and clean. The facilities were as advertised and the price was right.
The breakfast and 5 couse dinners was such as surprise! Delicious warm food. Gladys was our waitress and the service from the entire staff was excellent. You don't wait to be served. Tom is a friendly host and made us feel welcome. Before dinners we enjoyed a little someting at the bar. Definitely a home away from home. Here you can really relax and look forward to be spoiled at the dining table. You won't go to bed with hungry. Thanks Tom and staff, you are excellent, great hospitality and professionale.
