This place is great for the kids and adults. The pool keeps them busy, and adults can braai and enjoy their holiday. It is very well set up for summer days.

Noordewind is a very comfortable living house. Had a great time as a family and the weekend was just too short. The sunset is incredibly beautiful and the view from the reception area cannot be described. I recommend people to experience it for themselves. Only the braai needs a light and we also took our own braai grill. Incredibly pleasant.

The house is very spacious, a nice place to visit. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Will definitely make a visit to Noordewind again.
The house has a great location but needs maintenance. It was freezing cold and the roof leaked and the bathtub in the guest room drained. A little more provision for guests during the cold winter months would be nice.
However, I would like to make a few suggestions as this is an animal friendly home. The necessary gate in front that prevents the dogs from just going out and maybe bothering the people next door. I know towels have to be provided by yourself but still it would be good to get the necessary small towels for the bathrooms for hand washing. We didn't use the grills at all because they were really, really dirty. With loadshedding part of our daily life I suggest installing a few inverters only for the necessary lights and maybe to carry the TV. MNet can also really be considered because not everyone wants to watch Netflix all day.
You can choose where you want to rest and watch the sea! On the porch, the bed, the couch, or from the kitchen! We will definitely go again!
The location was superb and the accommodation spacious and clean. In fact I walked in my white socks and they stayed white! Besides everyday necessities such as toiletries, everything was provided for. We took our dog along and she loved running along the beach. All in all we loved our stay and will most certainly be back.
I would really recommend booking a weekend or longer here. It's so relaxing and has everything for young and old. The pool is the perfect size to relax in, the beach is a stone's through away.
We really enjoyed our weekend at Noordewind with the perfect location on the beach. Having an outdoor braai area and the splash pool was a great plus. Just a heads-up that the shower/bath catering for the other 2 bedrooms was not usable, as the water splashes onto the cupboard and causes a mess and swelling of the cupboard. We all just used the main en-suite shower instead. There was an unpleasant smell in the scullery, possibly due to no traps on washing machine and dishwasher waste water. Arriving late afternoon on Friday and having to vacate between 09:00-10:00 on Sunday morning was a bit of a low, tried to negotiate an 11:00 vacation, by no go. Had a really relaxing time though.
The location is perfect, the area is nice and quiet and the walking distance to the beach was a winner.
Will definitely visit the beautiful place again.

Christmas break is excellent, on the beach accommodation. It feels like you are on a Greek island, just you and your family alone. Incredible view with the tranquility of a secluded island.
We were moved due to building on the premises. I appreciate the trouble of this. Unfortunately, the place was dirty, no towels and toilet paper and the doors couldn't open all. The balcony was very dirty and one could hardly go out to see the view.
Very spacious and comfortable home. Right by the sea with the luxury of a small pool included.
We were kindly received. We didn't know about the R1000 cash key deposit, but agent was very friendly about it. Beds were comfortable and rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. Just have no towels in bathrooms. The living area and kitchen area flow beautifully into each other and with 4 adults and 2 children and a baby we had more than enough space. The pool and porch is where we spent most of our time. The lovely beach right in front of us kept us entertained for hours. But won't send kids to the beach alone. You cannot see the swimming beach from the house. Truly a wonderful experience.
We really enjoyed our stay! The view was amazing and the weather cooperated! The only complaint was that there were no extra blankets for the cold nights, nor towels. We had a good laugh at the sofa's brick legs which often fell over! Had a great time!

To respect our neighbours, no loud music, excessive noise or parties are allowed, unfortunately we do not allow day visitors. Failure to comply may result in immediate eviction with no refund, including forfeiture of breakage deposit
Breakage deposit
The following may affect the refund of your breakage deposit:
We reserve the right to use the breakage deposit towards cleaning, repair or replacement costs if the property has been left dirty, if items are missing, damaged, or if extraordinary cleaning of the property, linen or furniture is required.
Please wash and put away your dirty dishes before departure, as unwashed dishes will incur an additional fee
If you bring your pets, please keep them off furniture, avoid disturbing the neighbours, and clean up after them. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the breakage deposit.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the houses. If we detect any signs or smells of smoke, the deposit will not be refunded.
The breakage deposit will be refunded within 14 working days, minus any deductions. If the deposit is insufficient, the booking person is personally responsible for covering additional costs

As you prepare for your stay with us, don't forget that our accommodation is self-catering, please pack the following must-have items: towels (bath and beach), dishcloths, wood, food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, extra toilet paper (we have one roll per toilet to start with) and extra black bags (there's one in the bin)
