I would recommend Kiewiet anytime. The house is neatly furnished and the location is perfect. Thanks to our host.
We were a group of 7 people. The house is nicely furnished, clean and tidy. Everything is there that one could need - just take your own dish washing soap for hand washing or washing with the dishwasher. Lawn and shade at the back for the dog children if they wanted to lie outside. The braai area is nicely furnished with built-in sofas. We and the dog children had a really nice stay. Close to the harbor and the OK-Minimark. We will definitely go again!
It's the 2nd time staying there. Perfectly positioned and inside braai. The host is perfect and made sure everything was in place and assisted where they could. Also always available on WhatsApp.

Nice holiday home for a group of friends. We really enjoyed it because it is located near the sea and it is very safe! You don't need to lock your car's doors when it's outside because it's so safe. The beds were so nice and soft, clean bedding and enough storage space. Kitchen has everything you need, from an oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, pots, braai facilities and so much more. The space was enough for our group of friends.
All our visitors were without exception very impressed with the place. From the location to the amenities and value for money, everything was perfect for us. This will be our preferred accommodation when we visit Struisbaai again.

Windows that do not close completely. Microwave no duration indication. Fridge light not working. Shower position very difficult - taps far from shower head.

The house's rates were very reasonable for what we got. We had a comfortable stay and there was everything we needed.
House is close to the sea to walk. Groceries only 200 meters from home and everything is available. Liquor store and home industry for baked goods.
It was just a pity that they lacked the basics like toilet paper, dishwashing liquid /cleaning agents and possibly tea, coffee etc. As a host myself I think these are essentials. Also no internet connection.

The shops are across the road, and it's walking distance from the sea.
They talk about a four-bedroom house, but do not say that the other 2 bedrooms are in an outbuilding and then the TV does not work because there is no decoder. They will have to look at the indoor braai - if it rains, it leaks water inside.
I would recommend changing the sleeping pillows more often - very flat and hard. The covers of the dining room chairs can also be refreshed - wash and iron. Otherwise good value for money!
The house is very centrally located and everything we needed was within walking distance. The house is nice and spacious and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time there with our children and grandchildren over Christmas. The dishwasher was a blessing! Thanks to Dirk who confirmed the arrangements via WhatsApp and also asked us to let him know if the prepaid electricity meter runs low. I only mention the following for information, there were many thorns on the grass and court-yard and the grandchildren and I often stepped on them when we walked barefoot. There seems to be a lot of personal stuff stored in the house as well. Maybe it should be locked away instead. Some of the crockery was not clean and had to be washed before we could use it. Otherwise it was lovely and we would love to visit Kiewiet again.
Very cute place located close to the Struisbaai town and harbor within walking distance of everything.
