Awesome stay, just very short.
The stay was pleasant. Friendly reception and everything was neat and clean. All that bothered me was that there was no safe parking for my motorcycle, but the owner pulled his vehicle out of the garage so that my motorcycle was safely locked inside.

Reception was good. No DStv, WiFi, toilet paper, just an empty piece of toilet paper, no black bag in the bin in the kitchen, empty ice pack in the freezer section of the fridge, so I assume there was no cleaning. Tried contacting the owner by phone on Friday, no answer. Bought data myself as well as toilet paper. On leaving, the owner apologized for not providing us with a load shedding schedule and a new password. The owner said we could stay one night for free in the future. I did not accept it because the place is not up to standard. My husband and I have rented many places for weekends in the Saldanha and Langebaan area that are far better equipped than King's Castle.
We felt at home the moment we arrived.
We were welcomed by owners. Best view ever. Friendly people and tranquility. Would go again anytime.

Very nice stay. For sure the barbecue place with the best view I've ever had.
The view from King's Castle is absolutely fantastic, because you look out over the whole of Saldanha Bay and the owner quickly showed me the famous places from above. I will definitely stay there again, if you need to use the braai place or just sit on the deck and relax, you have an unobstructed view of the bay, and it is so peaceful and quiet, the height on the mountain where the place is located , makes a big difference in what one can see from there. I also slept very well in the room that has everything available.
