The house can cater for up to 10 people and mattresses can also be arranged for children. The house comprises 3 bedrooms with doors and 2 bathrooms. The first 2 bedrooms have a double bed each and the third bedroom has twin beds. There is a sleeping couch in the porch room and one in the living room for extra guests. These rooms don't have doors. There are extra towels and linen in the cupboards.
The home has a kitchenette with an indoor braai, microwave oven, a toaster, a kettle, electric frying pan, mini-oven with 2 plate stove, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery. The indoor braai place provides a warm glow throughout the house during cold evenings. There is also an outside braai area where guests can enjoy great views over the farm. Homemade boerewors and braai wood is available on request
There is fresh spring water from the mountains in the running taps.
Linen, towels and washing cloths for dishes are provided. Toiletries, except toilet paper, are not provided.
Guests have access to a washing machine (bring your own detergent). There is a washing line outside in front of the back patio.

Activities on the farm include hiking, swimming beneath two waterfalls, mountain biking, 4x4 trails to the test, birdwatching, stargazing, meditating and yoga, swimming in the farm dams and observing farm activities.

A beautiful old farmhouse situated in a wonderful natural farm environment - perfect to unwind and declutter the mind and soul.
Beautiful location. Nice walking paths. Dam to swim in. Indoor braai and two outdoor braai, one under a large willow tree. Lots of Afrikaans books to read.
I can definitely recommend Kleindoorn and would love to stay there again.
We really enjoyed the fireplace in the kitchen, especially with the cold weather we had. At the moment the wildflowers are lovely and the walk to the waterfall was lovely, very doable for someone who struggles with knees that don't always want to play along. Hope to go back soon.
It's always nice to walk into such a clean and tidy house, and with so much space on top of that. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed. This was exactly what we needed - early mornings sitting on the porch with coffee and watching the sun rise, far away from the city with its noise. And when the sun draws water again, lighting the fire and sitting on the stoep again with a glass of red wine. We decided to walk to the waterfall rather than drive there, and it was absolutely worth it (even though the waterfall wasn't flowing) - I'm a lazy walker and easily walked the seven-plus kilometers round trip (I took the long way... and played with the Toktokkies along the way). Here you can really just switch off. I hope to be able to visit here again one day.
