The staff was exceptionally friendly. The rooms were clean, the place was quiet at night. Rooms are a bit tight, but adequate. Good for visiting the surrounding area.
The whole farm is truly beautiful. Fuego restaurant was fantastic and the food in abundance was unique and just outstanding experience. There are no cheap options for red wine at Knorhoek, but the wine is of good quality. There is a nice place to walk on the farm and the staff are friendly and helpful. Rose cottage is beautiful, but I think it's quite expensive when I look at what you pay for similar accommodation. Our check-in was late because previous guests apparently left late, but they offered us a seat and glass of wine.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious dishes with attention to detail. Rooms are very comfortable. Beautiful hiking trails with activities and a pool for little ones. We will definitely visit again.
Knorhoek is much more beautiful than in the photos. It truly is a piece of paradise.

Knorhoek Guesthouse is found on the picturesque Knorhoek wine farm, which is also know for its beautiful Quinn Rock Venue and renowned fine dining experience at Gate restaurant. The staff at the guesthouse were friendly and professional and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was great with an assortment of freshly baked breads, muffins and jams. Great farm experience with cows in the meadows and peacocks roaming by.

Had a quiet family time. Knorhoek was a nice central place to stay for exploring the area.
The location is perfect, amazing weather and close to Stellenbosch. It's just maybe the road that's really bad with potholes.
Breigton, the manager, is a star. Go stay there.

Rose Cottage is on Knorhoek wine farm and is fully equipped, even with a small bar fridge for local beer and wine. Breakfast is available at a price but there are sufficient facilities to make your own. The restaurant is currently closed (it's been fully booked for private functions in the past anyway), but Delheim is around the corner - believe they're still open.
A bit noisy in the afternoons; I would also prefer a roof fan/standing fan or air conditioning against heat.

Wonderful place for a family getaway. Enjoyed the Winelands and close enough to Stellenbosch to enjoy a different vibe! Lovely weekend!
Great location and safe environment. Room was comfortable and close to walk to restaurant. The restaurant's kitchen closes at 16:00 and our room did not have self-catering facilities. We had to find something for dinner in Stellenbosch which is not a bad trip. Unfortunately, the driver cannot therefore enjoy Stellenbosch's wonderful wines during dinner.
We were very excited to stay in the Lavender Cottage again. However, there was a family of 6 crammed into the two bedroom Rose Cottage next to us - to make matters worse they also had two dachshunds who had to share a garden with us. We have small children, and since we got there, the dogs have been pouncing on us all the time and barking so much that we feel like we have to barge into another person's yard uninvited. It was very inconvenient and will make it our last time there. Really inconsiderate to squeeze so many people in there.

Our room was quite spacious seemed like a king-size bed, mobile reception is not that good but the WiFi was working really good to catch up on emails etc. I loved the big bathroom, and the temperature in the room was really cozy even though I didn't see a air conditioner or fan. There were a nice free flow of fresh air. The views was breathtaking and with the trees it looked like a forest Bavaria Germany. The breakfast was a nice selection of juices, cold cuts and cheeses as well as a hot breakfast but the best was the freshly baked homemade bread. Yummy!
Lovely place, nice rooms and friendly staff. Dinner was very good and for us from Europe very affordable. Location, especially at breakfast, is stunning. What a view!
We only stayed over 1 night, and did not spend much time there as we were going to a wedding. The room was beautiful, but there was a problem with the geyser and we had no hot water. The staff were marvellous, brought coffee to our room and allowed us to use the shower in another suite. The breakfast was excellent, thank you!
We stayed here when attending a wedding in the area. Beautiful room with cotton linen, spacious bathroom, and the room had a neat, practical layout. Breakfast was lovely. Service was friendly and warm. I would suggest that the dog in the dining room and other rooms rather stay outside.

We enjoyed a one night break at Knorhoek and the location of the guest house absolutely made it. The people were hospitable and our room, although quite small, was adequate. Things were a little disorganized at breakfast and we had to wait longer than we wanted, but it didn't spoil the experience.

Nice location close to all the wine farms. We thought we were staying on the ground in a unit but then we were staying on the first floor. Fortunately, the people were nice enough to show us where we could barbecue. Positive experience.

The accommodation and the wines are of excellent quality. We really enjoyed our one night among the trees and mountains. It is also close to most other attractions. Close enough to the airport and very quiet.
We had a very nice stay. The unit was very neat, clean and well equipped. The blankets were wonderfully warm - we visited the Cape at about a cold time. The service was friendly and helpful.
Hey this place has got everything;and value for money.nI have stayed on many farms and this one ticks all the boxes.nStunning walks , great cheese platters, very good breakfasts, lovely people, long history.nI think it is the best place to stay in Stellies; its only 4km from town.nIf I had to choose one place, I would choose Knorhoek.
