It was a fantastic experience with the goats grazing around the chalets in the late afternoon and through the night and the wonderful silence.
It was incredibly nice and the quietest quiet we needed. Very hospitable, our stay was not confirmed due to internet problems, but they were very accommodating and LekkeSlaap was able to sort it out later.

Couple in love who fell in love with Ko Ka Tsara! Hopefully there aren't too many people who feel like us, as we want to come visit again and can find a place. What an incredibly nice experience. In addition to interacting with the wildlife, the service was friendly and very helpful. We felt quite majestic. Even though we are ordinary people. Important: The animals are not hand-fed and "man-made". They are wild animals, which are simply used to people. Timid as wild animals should be, but not outwitted. Our only complaint is that we couldn't get a seat again on our return trip a week later - but we understand that. We want to invite our friends and come visit (at least a weekend), all the way from the Northern Suburbs in the Cape. Save us a spot (or 3).
Ko Ka Tsara was a big surprise. We only stayed overnight to drive on the next day. I will for sure next time not only sleep over, but make it my destination. Relaxed wonderfully. Cottages are very cute, clean and safe. There are many animals to see. Pool is very clean.
Everything was perfect. The 4x4 drive was an experience. Breathtakingly beautiful. The wildlife was fantastic to see so close to the chalet. You don't get the kindness anymore. It is neat, safe and I will definitely spend the night there every time I am on my way to the Cape or back home.
We visited there with friends and they were just as surprised with the place.

Book a getaway at Ko Ka Tsara! It's just too nice, the houses are comfortable and clean, the location really beautiful and the rest you experience is unprecedented! Have stayed here before, but will 100% come back again!

It was wonderful to be able to celebrate my birthday in this peaceful camp. The grass is still beautifully green with nice big trees. Can go for a nice walk. Safe area. Saw giraffes and bald goats. One bald kid was so tame and walked right up to the houses. The monkeys were very naughty and came to get a loaf of bread from our chalet, but it was fun to see them jumping around and frolicking in the trees! Delicious barbecue in the evenings. Beautiful starry sky. Everything was perfect. Would love to stay there again.

Only problem for a quiet getaway is that dogs are also allowed. The barking of animals around your chalet scares away the animals and thus also the tranquility.

Got up in the morning, made coffee and sat on the stoep watching a giraffe browse no more than 20 metres from our unit. Truly magnificent.

Suitable overnight accommodation from Gauteng and Mpumalanga and less travel to the Western Cape the next day.
To sit on your porch and see the warthog family come to drink water and eat on the lawn in front of your little house, and to open the curtains the next morning and see 2 giraffes standing and eating just a short distance away, makes you feel so peaceful in nature. Despite the locust infestation, we had a wonderful time and will definitely stay there again for longer.

Beautiful location. Luxury unit was very nicely decorated with comfortable beds and quality linens. The whole camp is very beautiful with large green lawns and a swimming pool. The service was very friendly and professional. Lastly, the place was truly pet friendly and they made us feel very welcome and comfortable with our dogs, something that doesn't happen everywhere.

We stayed in 2 of the chalets for 1 evening. Everything was neat and in working order. We also had breakfast before we left. The service wasn't too great given that there was only one person that had to do everything (reception/waiter/queries/etc.). One piece of criticism: it is expected that filter coffee is available at an "upmarket" place, but only instant coffee was available. Nonetheless, I will make use of Ko ka Tsara's accommodation again.

A family with small children and us used it in the middle of winter for a one night stayover. It was my second visit. Excellent for this goal, but you really have to stay longer. It would be nice any time of year. Even though you are close to town it feels far away from everything. Very peaceful, neat, big spaces, friendly staff. Excellent neatness and facilities - especially the linen!

A beautiful environment and a wonderful place to relax for a family. The lawns are really as green as in the photos and the mountain tortoises, warthogs and goats that come to visit make it special. The thatched cottages are cozy and the swimming pool a treat in the Karoo heat. Ko Ka Tsara is definitely more than just a stopover on a long trip and we hope to stay longer next time.
