10 guests' feedbackLoaad shedding caused some problems with contacting the owner on arrival but once this was sorted the owner was really kind and helpful, especially in making a fridge available.
Owner makes an effort, basic accommodation but minor shortcomings. Hot water is limited.
Located in center of town. Adequate overnight place to stay.
Our unit was tidy and our stay was pleasant for the 1 and a bit day we were there. However, it was just disappointing that our unit was not ready after 5pm on the day we checked in and that the DSTV and TV did not work at all during our stay. During our stay it was very cold, it rained and we were confined to our unit because there is not really any other entertainment in Loeriesfontein. When we did the booking it was listed that there was DSTV and a TV. We have not received any discount or refund for amenities that are not available.
Directions and communication were more than we expected. We arrived late and just wanted to light the fire immediately after a long drive. Sarina immediately set up the grill and barbecue tongs for us and we simply grilled at their sheltered barbecue area. The place is very clean and tidy, spotless! Definitely recommend.
Kindly supplied tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk. Basic comfortable overnight space.

We would like to sincerely thank Sarina for her kind help when we accidentally arrived one day early with my elderly parents and she immediately welcomed us. All the facilities really neat and more than enough and the air conditioning and DStv are luxurious extras. The stairs in the kitchen can be quite a risk for older people and could perhaps be improved. We had a nice barbecue every evening on the stoepie and admired the starry sky and took in the Karoo life. The apartment sits behind the large house on one side in the corner with open plots all around which helps with privacy. I know you have had drought for a long time and the Karoo requires smart work with gardens and plants. Therefore, I would suggest that succulents and other hardy bushes or trees be planted along the fence for a green feel for city jays and extra privacy. The property is in a good and quiet part of town with very friendly people and we never saw any unwelcome loiterers. There were burglar bars everywhere, but some city folk might like a security gate, but we never felt unsafe. Thanks again and we will visit again if we pass by.
All the necessary facilities for a weekend or even longer. We arrived later than we'd planned, but we were still warmly welcomed. Would go again, but for longer.
