Quite close to a main road, so there was a bit of traffic noise, but not terrible.
The stay was good except the air conditioning machine was not providing hot air. The room was cold. I reported it, but nothing was done.
We booked this lodge because of the availability of meals on request. But the only thing they offer is an English breakfast. This is in contrast to the site. The state of the lodge and of our room was not in balance with the price. Almost all the doors of the cupboards and kitchen were half broken, taps were loose or without a perlator (of that is the right word), breakfast cost R100 pp and was insufficient. Not a place worthy to be listed.
Very poor condition of accommodation. One of the rooms' roof leaked and was mouldy. The photos of the place are not at all like on the website.
Dirty and neglected.
We just turned around and went to find another place to stay. It was not a pleasant experience after a long day on the road. Outside there was not a single whole chair to sit on. The porch that we had to share with guests was overflowing with empty liquor bottles.
Rooms need some attention, especially furniture. The bed was old. It could do with a decent spring clean. The water pressure was poor. There is no comfortable seating outside, only dilapidated benches. The aircon needs a good service.

The guest house does not look at all like in the photos. Rooms are small and cramped, furniture is old and there are no facilities for self-catering at all. Kitchen equipment is minimal. There was no service during the day and no breakfast available to order. I will not visit or recommend the guesthouse again.

Very neat, clean room. Breakfast is not included but is available on request. Absolutely worth it and delicious. Value for money. Suzette goes out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
New management from August 2022. The place looks run down, springs sticking in my back on the bed. We didn't get the place we booked. I will not eat there and the photos on the site are no longer what they seem. They are currently building more rooms with just drywall in between. The furniture is loincloth. The tables and chairs outside the units were burnt to pieces and the broken sets of chairs and tables were missing boards. We book for 3, but only 2 mugs and 2 towels. Very noisy road nearby. The air conditioning drips onto the tread.

The town is not very tourism oriented. Difficulty getting satisfactory answers to your queries. We went to the Wonder Caves only to get there to find it closed for construction. No earlier indications.

Suzette made us feel very much at home and the breakfast in the morning was of 5-star quality. We had a great time together and watched rugby. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. Will definitely stay here again if we need to be in Kuruman another time.

The guesthouse is easily accessible. The reception was friendly, but the hostess struggled a bit with an injury. The residence was large and had a lot of space. There was a comfortable, warm bed, thank you very much. I can't complain at all about the apartment. The reception part was a bit confusing for me. The host had to drive after we asked for drinks. Bottled water etc. was not on site but with an explanation that the previous guests had been partying hard was understandable. The food was delicious, but not comparable in quality to the previous guest house we stayed at. The next morning the breakfast was delicious, but the hostess was still in her night clothes.

Kuru-Kuru is a very friendly, clean and comfortable guest house. Our room was well equipped and clean and comfy. We appreciated the little containers with coffee, tea and sugar and the fresh milk in the fridge. The only negative aspect was the bed which was very creaky. We will certainly stay there again and will arrange with Suzette for dinner as well as breakfast.
