The accommodation was good and I enjoyed the WiFi and smart TV.
Owner forgot we checked in, then forgot to turn on geyser after loadshedding, coffee and tea we couldn't use.
My family and I spent a weekend in Hermanus, Lagoons Edge guest house. It is fantastic, the guest house and surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful and beautiful. We will definitely go there again one day.
They have a lovely place down there.
The owner made us feel welcome and provided excellent service. The in-house chef, made by far one of the best breakfast omelettes I've ever eaten. I would definitely recommend Lagoons Edge to all.
Good host, was friendly.
At first impression a bit put off. After 2 nights (days) of a total of 4 nights we got used to the apartment/facilities. Lacks a bit of a 'love in detail'. The apartment was somewhat 'spartan' furnished. Owner, Glen, was very involved, to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Mosquitoes were bothersome in the beginning. Problem is solved. After that slept very well in a quiet environment. Direct surroundings do not offer much, small shop and eatery. We did not experience this as a disadvantage, on the contrary, but other visitors may find it bothersome.
Neat, clean, comfortable, hospitality, view, safety. All in one! The pool was certainly the highlight, because although the weather didn't quite cooperate, the water was lovely at 10 o'clock in the evening and salt water was clean!
The hostess was very beautiful, really good food and really interested in us and what we do. I would recommend to anyone.
Beautiful place.
I had a great stay and slept in a paradise with views and silence. Breakfast was flexible and tasty served by the owner, who was also able to share interesting knowledge about the area. Also had a nice chat with some of the other guests upstairs where breakfast was served. Actually 5 stars on all points. A mosquito or 2 was a bit of a bother and a net would have been quite good. Payment was a bit of a hassle because credit card machine problems. But I would stay there again anytime.
Address is misleading. Not in hermanus. TV in room shares DStv with owner. Couldn't watch TV anymore for 9 hours. Cable was disconnected. Advertise 400 DVDs to watch in room, nothing available.
We had a very relaxing stay. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. They did everything to make sure we are comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family.
