Located under oak trees next to a stream, each of the stands has electric and water points, as well as braai facilities.
The stands have use of communal ablution facilities with hot water showers, flush toilets, as well as a washing up area for dishes. Two dogs per stand are allowed with prior arrangements at an additional cost.
Guests can explore the rock pools, do bird watching to see some of the 40 bird species, and go mountain hiking to spot where the elusive leopards sharpen their claws against a tree.

28 guests' feedbackLovely campsite, good facilities and friendly hostess. We will definitely come back.
Well received, brought our wood and ice to our camp, cleaned the ablutions every day with enough toilet paper.
Quiet campsite. Als was clean and tidy. The campsite has good shade and the bathroom facilities are very neat. Hospitality was great. They stopped by every day to make sure everything was going well. We got nice oranges too. The hiking trail to the waterfall was very beautiful. We would love to come and camp again. Note there is no cell phone signal. Just in one spot behind the bathroom. The campsite is well located to visit the Cederberge and Citrusdal's surrounding areas.
Beautiful, neat campsite with extra facilities, freezers, large fridges and microwave for the use of the campers. It rarely happens that the owners/s of campsites move between the campers to find out if there are any complaints. She was in the camp every day and often came to ask if we had any complaints or needed anything. Thank you very much for that, It was our first camp at Leopard's Tree, but believe me we will definitely go again.
We had a great time camping. The facilities are neat, the owners are so friendly and came to check that everything is ok. The 1h - 2h hike was also nice to explore nature a bit - and the route was very clearly marked. The 'no noise' policy is an added bonus!
Incredibly delicious. The people are so helpful and friendly.
Very nice camping on a spacious pitch. Very spacious showers and very clean. Will go again. Baboons seen at the pool, but not seen or spotted in the camp. Hospitality of the best.
Nice big campsites on a working citrus farm - good facilities that are well maintained. Camp sites are well managed. I have not paid a breakage deposit while camping before, but we got the deposit back promptly when we departed. The only detractor for me, as a conservationist, was the abundance of alien invasives (e.g. wattle) in the campsite and up the watercourse.
See stars.
Beautiful camp, braai places, bathroom and kitchen were very neat and comfortable. Will def come back again.
Beautiful campsite with hiking trails and 4x4 trail. Nice pitches under trees and enough space. Bathrooms very neat and owners always there to help. Would definitely recommend and will camp there again. Nice little campsite which I like, so less noise.
We really enjoyed the camp. Kids could just be kids again. Owners were very friendly and helpful.
Very friendly host, goes out of his way for extra requests. No cell phone reception at pitches, but +- 100 m away. Walking route to waterfall was very nice, a bit poorly signposted, especially further into the gorge. Water points at stand need better system, very difficult to use. Enjoyed the weekend very much, wonderfully peaceful near the stream.
We had such a good time. Owners are wonderful, hospitable people. They carried us on their hands. We had a great time. We will visit there again in April.
Yes, definitely very peaceful.
Well kept secret! The campsites were large with lots of shade such that the grass cannot grow there. Camp was only 50% occupied, so we experienced no problems with the ablution facilities. The grandchildren frolicked in the shallow stream in front of the campsite when they weren't in the pool. The walking route in the gorge to the waterfall is breathtakingly beautiful. The hostess and farm owner often came to chat. The latter's talks are of Tolla fame!
The swimming pool was a great respite from the heat. Our dogs loved the location and the hike as well. The bathrooms and kitchen was neat and had everything we needed.
The biggest problem is that there is only 1 shower and 3 toilets for the ladies to use. There are 12 pitches where there are often 2 or more families. That is to say a minimum of 2 ladies per stand and then the children are not even added. So you have to stand in a long queue to wait your turn to take a shower. If 48 feet move towards each other through the shower, I doubt if it is still that clean and hygienic.
Quiet, peaceful. Not for partygoers which is exactly what I was looking for. Swimming - hiking - trail running - Rock climbing - Nature at its best. Mild Off the Grid.
We are so grateful to have discovered Leopard's Tree! Very neat campsite, especially the ablution blocks, all facilities are in good condition and it is clearly visible how much time and effort the owners spend on the campsite. Can't believe it's only 1 year old! The owners are lovely and full of knowledge about the area, plants, animals. We will definitely return!
What a great experience, Thanks to Inalize for the personal service. Bathrooms beautifully clean. Peaceful atmosphere, nice and big pitch, fresh water. Everything was just wonderful. Deposit received back immediately.
We had a very peacefull stay. Facilities was well equiped. Only dissapointment was little water in the river, kids could not really enjoy it.
Everyone as helpful as a family. The owners very welcoming.
Leopard's Tree is another new campsite, but the managers did everything perfectly! Wood and ice van drive through campground if you need. The owner stopped by to make sure we were okay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. . Our little dog was also welcomed with open arms and she enjoyed the river so much!. Most pitches have nice shade and there are power and water points at every pitch. There are even neat fridges in the washing up area/kitchen that travelers can use. It was a great weekend, and we'll be back soon! One point I do want to make is that if the campground has a "no noise/no music" rule, the owners will have to find a way to implement it and enforce it if necessary. The environment is so beautiful and should not be spoiled by loud music. Thanks for everything Leopard's Tree team!!
We had a great camp at Leopard's tree. The camp supervisors are very friendly and ready to help if there is the smallest complaint. The ablution facilities seemed small to us at first but because it is a small setup, we never waited for washrooms. Unfortunately there were water problems during our visit, but the caretakers responded quickly and I believe this will no longer be a problem in the future. We were there on a very hot weekend - in the future campers will be able to use a farm pond to swim in, which is currently still being built and will provide a lot of relief. Arrangements were made for us to go swimming in a nearby pond which could at least break the heat. There is a number that can be dialed for ice, wood and soft drink delivery and this came in very handy, just bring cash as there are no card facilities. We did a nice walking route and there are also mountain biking opportunities. Children can only take bicycles. Cell phone reception is not very good, but if you move around you should get reception. Leopards Tree will see me again (when the dam is built).
Made us feel very welcome. Ideal place for dogs to camp together.
One of the toilets were also out of order and water outage for a long period was an inconvenience as it had been a hot day and very hot weekend. Stream didn't have much water to cool off in and the dam down the road was okay although, as it is used by livestock, it was full of cow and other droppings. Having checked out another glamping site close by I don't know why they are so vehement about not allowing any music. Surely quiet music that doesn't disturb your fellow campers isn't unreasonable? Otherwise the tannie selling milktart and being able to order Coke, ice and wood was appreciated. The breakage fee of R200 didn't make a lot of sense. If something is damaged in the toilet, how do you know who broke it and who do you charge if there are no witnesses?
Anytime again! Best reception ever and Uncle Doepie is so friendly!
