The managers and staff made us feel very much at home. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The view of the Sabie River from the unit (Tent 2), as well as from the restaurant area, is incredible. The entertainment on Friday evening was very fun and the visits around the 'boma' were very nice and sociable.

The deluxe double room is what sold it for us online. What you see is what you get. Outstanding! Breakfast excellent and value for money. A bit slow when larger groups have to be accommodated, but understandable. Mistakes made with our booking and payment was swiftly sorted out ─ thank you.

This lodge need serious attention, out dated, not clean, breakfast was disappointing.
Avoid Golf Lodge. It may sound glamorous, but it's not. Apparently there's a golf course somewhere? The unit we stayed in was apparently upgraded, but the bathroom wasn't clean and had dirty towels, and bathroom rug. The shower had a bundle of hair from previous guests. Disgusting. Wasn't 5-star at all. Despite all the problems including no warm water, the owner refused to give us a refund even though we were the only guests in the lodge. Please, spare yourself and go somewhere else.
Breakfast was delicious. Service the best. People were friendly and nice. We had a great stay!

Lions Rock was a wonderful experience. The rooms were wonderfully spacious with a wonderful view. Marion, Bruce and the rest of the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Despite the incorrect check-in and check-out dates - which were entirely my own fault - they did their best to accommodate us. Small "touches" such as sherry in our room, special cupcakes for the boys and their friendly service make us sure to recommend Lions Rock Golf Lodge.
The people are very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious and tidy. It's a peaceful getaway that provides you with silence in a very beautiful location. Friendly service and nice rooms.
Great place to relax and rest if you need to get away from the city. The setting is beautiful with extraordinary views, with the sound of a Fish Eagle during the day and owls at night.
