Very good value for money. The place is in a quiet area, but also close to everything in Van Der Bijl. The place will be even better in summer when one can use the indoor swimming pool.

We travel with our dog, and she was able to roam freely in the garden, and we were very comfortable, safe and peaceful. We got good service from the staff and owner. The unit was comfortable, and what we lacked, the owners provided, such as e.g. a larger pan, etc. We had a great time at the resort. We could swim and play pool anytime.
The place was very clean. The owner and his wife were very helpful. Would only recommend that there are a bit more kitchen utensils, would have liked a smaller toaster and at least a wine glass - had to go and buy one, but rested so well.

On the advertisement it was said that there will probably be DStv channels - only tv 1,2,3. There is also no indication of where the office is - only "No Access."
The rooms is cleaned properly and all required kitchen glasses and cutlery was available, the hosts was pleasant and friendly as well.
It was a pleasant place close to everything to spend the night for the weekend. Friendly service. All that was wrong is that there were not enough glasses for 4 people and our DStv didn't work at all.
Maria was a lovely host and checked we had everything we needed, suggested extra blankest especially in the winter months.
I would suggest that guests know that there is a gas geyser and gas stove. Furthermore, everything was neat and comfortable.

The photo on the website creates the impression that there is a lapa where you and your friends can hang out, but the it's the owner's own veranda. Personally we did not like the bathroom without a door, the toilet looks out onto the the bed and outdoor. The curtain doesn't do it for us.

Longtrail was comfortable and tidy. It was just the alarm that woke us up several times.
Longtrail is a comfortable, quiet, relaxed atmosphere away from home. It is like staying over with distant family member. The owner is always nearby and more than accommodating should the need for assistance or something arises. He is very helpful and creates a very relaxed atmosphere. The bed we slept on was of the highest quality which is the most important part of staying over anywhere. Thank you for a good night's rest!
Came to play play a National Bowls tournament, and needed to have comfortable, affordable accommodation for a group.
I will definitely stay there again. It's close to a lot of things to do and the mall and shops are also very close. Nice and quiet atmosphere. The people are very friendly and you do not feel unwelcome at all. Stop by sometime.
