It was the cutest little place. Very neat and everything you need. Will definitely visit again. We saw a lot of wildlife on our bike ride. What an experience.
I felt a warm welcome. The manager and staff are so kind towards us. Their treatment was amazing, like I felt like I'm the queen in the palace. Natasha is the best of the best with a warm heart.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Luara and we are definitely planning on going back. Natasha is an absolutely wonderful host and a great contribution to the lodge. Abel takes good care of all your needs and is quite the entertainer. The whimsical treehouse we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed and more, especially the aircon! All the children were swooped away with awe and wonder, and the outside toilet afforded many giggles! Big game having a drink at the dam right next to us, a tiny Bushbaby named Louise pulling the heartstrings - we were very sad to leave. The only problem I found was that I cannot live there permanently .

Staying at Luara Wildlife is fun if you like "rustic". There is only battery power for lights, no microwave as advertised, and hot water with a donkey to be stoked. The place needs a lot of attention. The biggest disappointment was the price. R2,500-00 per night is excessive for what you get. It's more of a R500-00 per night place.
Had a nice stay - another star place to stay, nice view of fields where wildlife roams. Comfortable. Would have preferred gas geyser.

Luara Wildlife was really nice. It's a very beautiful farm with lots of game. The buffaloes were a nice surprise. The tents were very comfortable. Everything one needs. Abel came to light the fire every afternoon. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at Bushbaby's nest, which was the perfect balance between a raw bushveld stay and a luxury getaway. Abel was our amazing knowledgeable host. We saw 10 species of wildlife just from the deck and swimming pool and had the pleasure of sleeping under the stars. Amazing, well-loved property. Thank you.

We stayed in the Meerkat Manor and Bush Babies tree houses. Both are special. Meerkat Manor is near the dam and really cute. Everything you need is there and we caught a lot of fish. Bush Babies is very, very beautiful and you look out over the savannah with lots of wildlife. Each camp has its own private swimming pool. Everything is neat, clean. We will go again for sure.
A relaxing and beautifully decorated tree house, with minimal, but appropriate amenities. A game farm with various exotic game, such as golden wildebeest, black springbok, black rooibok and white blesbok. Also with other more common game like warthog, eland, gemsbok and giraffe.
We lived in the Meerkat Manor. Very neat and quiet. Lots of birds and wildlife around. Nice braai area and swimming pool. Can drive around the farm and view the forest yourself. 10 out of 10.

Beautiful farm with good accommodation. Game is plentiful and we enjoyed it very much. The accommodation was luxurious and clean and the service was good. We will go again for sure! Long dirt road to farm. When booking tents - make sure you book both tents as facilities are shared and it's not fun to work with strangers.
We really enjoyed our time at this fantastic place! Definitely recommended for a romantic getaway. It's the most stylish tree house I've ever seen. The service of Ebo, the camp commander, was excellent too! A big bonus for us as animal lovers was the tame meerkat at Meerkat Manor. He provided great entertainment and animal love. We just named him Rascal, because he is a worthy rascal. If he gets naughty, let me know, I'll come and pick him up for our bushveld farm right away. We'll be back for sure!

A lovely surprise in the middle of a wildlife estate.
'n Baie ontspannende verblyf in 'n pragtige tentkamp. Het die wild wat so naby aan die kamp rondloop regtig geniet, sal beslis weer daarheen gaan.
What a nice place to stay and lovely bushland atmosphere. The animals are all calm and come to drink deliciously at the waterhole which is right in front of the "Tented Camp" where we stayed. So hospitable and tidy and so nice to be able to enjoy the silence of nature.

This was one of our most incredible weekends away. What a beautiful place, just 2 hours from Pretoria. Everything was fantastic, stayed in the most luxurious tents, kitchen and dining area outside on deck with view of water hole where animals come to drink water. Our hostess was so kind and specially baked cupcakes for my husband and I to congratulate us on our 23 year anniversary. Every second was wow and farm is fantastic. Would recommend the place to anyone. Put this one on your bucket list.
