The room was not cleaned, the sheets were not up to standard, and the tea in the room expired on 12/02/2015. There was noise from long-term tenants starting at 5am. The yard is not cleaned, and there are many dogs that bark at you when you come out of the room. During load shedding, they only provide light. The TV was not working, and the kettle was dirty inside.
On one profile the address is given as Ruiter Street. Got horribly lost. It is Rabe Street.
Generally slept well. Beds comfortable. Host very friendly and helpful. In my humble opinion, the old dry arrangements can be thrown away as the net collects dust. Can be replaced with something more modern. The bedding and towels have also been washed somewhat. Please consider this as positive criticism. Other than that, had a nice stay. Host stayed up late to receive us, checked in just before 10pm. Thank you!
Don't be put off by the exterior if you come to a stop in front of an ordinary townhouse. The rooms are at the back and separate. The personal contact and socialness of the Lutea owners are top notch. Also, the food parcels for the next day's breakfast and lunch was out of this world.
