The cottage can accommodate 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath. The second bedroom contains a double bed and the third bedroom contains 2 single beds. These 2 bedrooms have access to a shared bathroom with a shower. Both the main and second bedrooms offer lovely views of the dam.
The cottage also comprises a kitchen, an open-plan lounge and dining area, and an upstairs loft with a pool table and ping pong table. There is also a bathroom with a bath situated upstairs. The loft leads out to a spacious balcony with views of the dam and Cathkin Peak mountain range. There are 2 single beds and 2 sleeper couches in the loft for additional guests for an extra charge, if required.
The lounge has a fireplace, ideal for those chilly winter evenings, and leads through glass sliding doors onto a verandah and garden. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, an oven and stove, and a microwave.
The garden leads down to the dam and jetty; guests are welcome to bring their own boat, canoe, kayak or fishing equipment to use on the dam. Portable braai facilities are available, and guests have access to parking. The cottage has security gates, these must be locked when guests go out and when they check in.

The place is acceptable for what we paid and the location, but looks quite different in the photos than in real life. The bars that we could not unlock in the main room frustrated us a lot.
This beautiful has everything and more. The owner has added small, personal touches to make your stay extremely comfortable. I would recommend this 100% and will definitely return.

Most beautiful view, great location. Directions to get the key were very confusing. The cottage was very cosy, and has a lot of potential, but unfortunately it wasn't very clean, and it doesn't look like much maintenance is being done.
There was no proper fencing around our house so coming with a bigger dog wasn’t ideal.
The view is amazing. We will definitely be back again. The place is well equipped. It had a lot of extras that other establishments don't have. Our stay was very pleasant. Thank you to Vicki and Sandy for making our stay a memorable one.
Very grubby, kitchen disorganised, not a hanger in sight. Needed a good overall.

The farm is in a rural area, and cattle do occasionally wander along the dam.Guests will need a car to explore the area. There are dirt roads leading from the entrance to the farm down to the cottage, please drive carefully.
As the cottage is located on the farm, the water may have a sulphur smell when first used. Drinking water will be provided for guests, but the Cedarwood Shopping Centre is located 12.5 km away if guests wish to purchase more drinking water.
There are 2 single beds and 2 sleeper couches in the loft for additional guests for an extra charge, if required.
Please note the loft is accessed by a steep flight of stairs, so small children need to be watched at all times.
