10 guests' feedbackStay was very relaxing. Ina and Hans are the most helpful and courteous hosts I have ever met. They really made us feel welcome. If anyone wants to take a break from the 'rat race', this is definitely the place to book.
We had a very nice stay. The house is very neatly and functionally furnished. Although I found out about the breakage deposit afterwards, it didn't bother me. I probably didn't read it on your page?. I don't see it as a problem. The fact that Hans himself provides the key and handles the deposit is not a problem either. I understand that the arrangements are complicated because the short notice. Hans and Ina received us kindly and brought us the key when we checked in.
Beautiful rooms looking out on the bay. Everything you will need is in the flat.

MaKarLi Blu is excellently located on the slopes of St. Helena Bay Views with very nice view and sunrise and walking distance from the sea with good access to the water.

Jean-Pierre and Chantel, Makarli Blu is the perfect vacation spot for family and friends. The accommodation is fantastic, the sea view is breathtaking just as described on the listing. The unit is fantastic with no load shedding and everything works with gas mostly so you don't have to worry about load shedding.
We had a really memorable stay in MaKarLi Blu - thanks for hosting us, Hans and Ina. The place looks exactly as it does on the pics. The place is still newly built, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. Our hosts communicated well, were friendly, welcoming and available, but not intrusive at all. The accommodation is self-contained, has backup power and gas appliances so that loadshedding is no issue. If we ever go back to St Helena Bay, we'll start our search for accommodation with MaKarLi Blu.
The Bothmas are particularly hospitable and friendly. The unit is very complete, tasteful and clean. We highly recommend staying there.
Ina went out of her way for us and really made us feel welcome since we booked in and we booked out. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
