Malmane Eye Private Nature Retreat is situated on a farm between Lichtenburg and Ottoshoop and can accommodate 12 to 14 guests. It's the perfect place to relax in tranquil nature.

The chalet, Moonstone, is ideal for 2 adults is furnished with a queen-size bed, and has a private bathroom with a shower as well as a free-standing bath that overlooks the willow trees and water. The unit has a ceiling fan, heater, electric blanket, fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities and a TV with a hard drive full of movies and series.

Diamond Luxury Lodge Tent features a queen-size bed that boasts a beautiful view of the water. The tent can also accommodate 2 children on twin beds. There is a fan, tea- and coffee-making facilities, an electric blanket, and a heater available.

The adjacent entertainment Lapa consists of a semi-private loft, Ruby, that is furnished with a double bed as well as a fold-out couch in the communal area to accommodate children. The Lapa also has 2 bathrooms, 1 of which has a shower and a toilet while the other is a guest toilet. Guests are provided with a fan, heater, and electric blankets.

There are also 3 canvas dome tents located behind the Lapa. The Sapphire tent is furnished with a queen-size bed and the Emerald and Amethyst tents are furnished with 2 single beds each, which can accommodate up to 6 guests. The 3 tents have access to their own bathroom and each tent has electric blankets and fans. The tents look out on the leafy trees and water.

The Lapa has a view of the water and is equipped with a 10-seater bar, a kitchen with a fridge, freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, ice maker and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. In addition, there is a living room area featuring a flat-screen TV with an Android TV Stick which can be used for streaming films or series. Netflix, Plex and YouTube is complimentary while you can log in to DStv Now and Showmax with your own details. There is also a Bluetooth soundbar, as well as indoor- and outdoor braai facilities. For guests' convenience, 3-legged black pots and braai grids are available. The Lapa opens onto a stoep that overlooks the trees and water. Guests are afforded free Wi-Fi.

Guests can entertain themselves by swimming, canoeing, paddle-skiing, jumping on the trampoline and playing with the dartboard. Two mountain bikes are available for hire at an additional charge per bike. Guests are allowed to fish, but they have to bring their own equipment.

The 6-seater Jacuzzi is great after a cold dip in the clear and clean river, followed by a cocktail in the warm water.

The farm offers biking, walking trails, fishing, canoeing, or watching the stars at night. The farm also has an abundance of trees, luscious green grass, and over 75 species of birds.
