We had a fabulous stay. Janine was an amazing host, the breakfast was superb and the room was large, beautiful and very clean. The only downside was the close proximity to the overnight truck route - needed to leave the aircon on overnight to block out the traffic noise. Otherwise it was fantastic.
The owner was very kind and moved our reservation a week later due to illness on the original date - I experienced it as extremely professional. The room where we stayed is beautiful. The owners are very hospitable and breakfast was delicious.
The children wanted to know if we could buy the house and stay there every time we went down to the Cape. We really enjoyed our stay with Janine and her team. Highlights include: delicious farm breakfast (with cookie sheets for the kids), spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms and nice showers, air-conditioned rooms, secure parking and entrance to house, friendliness of the staff.
What a relaxing luxurious experience. Janine and her wonderful team made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The guesthouse itself was beautiful and clean. Our room was massive and exudes comfort. The surrounding is very peaceful just the type of place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Will definitely return. P.S. the breakfast is amazing.
We felt as if we were in a hotel suite rather than a guesthouse room, that big the accommodation (room and bathroom) was. Quality finishes and spotless cleanness add to the appeal. Attention to every little detail; like enough electricity plugs with a variety of connectors. Nothing was to much for our hosts; thank you for the "on the house" hors d'oeuvres we enjoyed on the deck whilst the kids took a dive in the pool and being accommodating in supplying breakfast for our eldest son at 6h30. We enjoyed the secure off-street parking with separate direct entry to our unit. We'll be back (and this time we will try another local restaurant tried and tested by the owners).
Beautiful place, luxurious rooms. Friendly service and hospitality, delicious breakfast. Small details that matter, bed and bedding are amazing, luxurious but a comfortable feeling. WiFi has a very good signal and there is DStv and a swimming pool with a lovely deck for relaxation.
We spent a wonderful 3 days here. Everything was luxurious and super neat. We had a delicious breakfast every morning and the hostess and staff's service was great. Would definitely recommend!
A very cute and stunning guest house! Most beautiful rooms with stunning showers. Beautiful hostess and her friendly husband immediately made us feel at home in their guest house! Hostess, Janine, helped us order a pizza for dinner. A lot of effort was put into breakfast and it was delicious!
One very seldom comes across a place where the photographs reflect exactly what you can expect; this was it. The room and bathroom were both as spacious as advertised. Sparkling clean, immaculate.
