We only slept in the house and did not hang out there. Just buy animal food from the store and help feed it, it is very dry at the moment and there is no food for the animals.
This was the best destination of all the many we had booked. It fully met my expectation and need. The house is very fully equipped with a good veranda overlooking the woodland with its many diet visitors. The hostess, Lorraine, was extremely helpful and friendly which made the stay very pleasant. Would like to visit this facility again. Thank you Lorraine.

Lorrain is a very nice host. She was lovely. The place is clean and secure.
Although the unit is equipped with fans, it did not alleviate the heat. The unit is hot throughout the day/night so I would recommend installing aircon in the unit. Also, the one braai grid is rusted and for health/safety reasons would recommend it be replaced. For the rest, the unit has great views and is well equipped with all the comforts one requires on holiday.
The best stay we have had in Marloth. It is in a very quiet part of Marloth, lots of animals moving around, about 1km from river (walking distance). Very neat, well-equipped house in the heart of the forest. We will definitely use Marloth Getaway again next time.
The animals running free between the houses, the untouched nature was wonderful. Only the one near the bar that was disturbing, especially at night.

Nice and peaceful, nice outdoor area, nice visits from the local animals.
I don't know how often the properties are upgraded, but my experience of the house only confirmed that it is not done annually or regularly. After all, one expects a clean bathroom, the garden chairs free of cobwebs and clean cushions. People with thatched roofs simply need to regularly spray their houses for pests/ants/cockroaches/dust/spiders. The owner is very friendly and helpful, but that doesn't fix the mistakes. You understand with the Covid everyone lost money, but then you go out of your way to create a good impression and go the extra mile to make sure people get what they pay for. Everyone is turning pennies and a getaway weekend costs you money and then you don't want to be disappointed. We strongly considered cutting our stay short, but we had already paid for 3 people and only 2 went and just sprayed the ants and cockroaches with Doom.
Back to nature. Saw many animals. Clean house and friendly service.

Wonderfully quiet, lovely in nature. Nice boma for hanging out around the fire. And nagapies, kudus and warthogs come for a visit every day.
It was a lovely, peaceful, nature-rich place with all the animals right on your doorstep. The owner lives at the back of the premises and she has converted her own house into beautiful personal accommodation. There is so much to do in Marloth, yet one can just sit on the porch and rest. I recommend the place to anyone who likes peace and quiet and beautiful nature.
If you want to break away from the city to recharge your batteries, Marloth Park is the right destination. We rested well. The house is clean and tidy and the hostess very helpful. Good security. It was pleasant to receive a daily afternoon visit from the animals, and then nice to visit a hard coal fire.
The environment is so nice, the routes for driving and walking are so well laid out and planned. The biggest problem is that people who have too much money build palaces that don't fit in. Furthermore, the place is very cute, you can buy only what you need and the security is fast and I noticed this when I accidentally set off the alarm. 10 minutes later they were there.
Close to crocodile bridge so easy access to the park. Lovely areas to have sundowners while watching over the crocodile river. Amenities good in house. Overall relaxing.

My parents and I had a great time at Marloth Getaway and had a great stay. We really enjoyed sitting around the campfire in the late afternoon and seeing animals that had already moved around the house.
Marloth Getaway is definitely the place to be. We enjoyed it a lot and it was worth the money. Kids enjoyed the animals a lot and fed them everyday. Friendly service and very helpful if you want to know something. We will definitely see you again soon.

To sit by the fire in the afternoon and not hear the traffic noise or planes, was indescribable. The entrance to the Kruger National Park is also just around the corner. Marloth Getaway will definitely see us again.
The accommodation is suitable for a family of 2 to 6. It has all the basic equipment and is very tidy with a little old-fashioned charm. Offers lots of privacy and interaction with nature. It is also nice to know that the owner is very close if there are any problems or challenges.
We couldn't stop talking about the tranquility of the place. No city noise, with different animals and birds coming to visit. The host and hostess were very helpful and friendly. If I go to Marloth Park again, I will definitely stay there again.
