4 guests' feedbackWhat a great experience it was! This place and location have everything that you need if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. I will miss the sound of crashing waves and birds singing in the mornings!
The hostess was warm and welcoming. After showing us the cottage, we were left in privacy. The apartment is extremely clean and comfortable. It was a treat to wake up every morning overlooking the ocean, and seeing dolphins and whales in the bay, and to go to sleep in the evening hearing the sound of the sea.
Martin' Cottage is a lovely place for a weekend break or overnight stop. The cottage is tastefully furnished with quality bedding and towels. We were kindly received by the hostess. We were greeted with a chocolate treat on our pillows. This is the very first time we have stayed at a place where we received more than enough coffee, tea, milk and biscuits and for that I give the hostess a point of ten out of ten. The place is peaceful with the most beautiful view of the sea and wonderful bird life. However, I would not recommend the place to persons who need a lot of space.
This is the perfect spot for a couple/sole traveller wanting to explore the Garden Route or stay for business. The cottage itself offers the basics and is perfect as a base.
