43 guests' feedbackThe place is fantastic. You walk in and you can see that the people have an eye for detail and everything you will need. Neatly finished and stunning room. Very friendly welcome and cute animals on the premises (a beautiful dog and 3 loving cats). The location is perfect - close to everything and far enough to be able to take in the tranquility of nature and go on the hiking trails that are just behind the yard along the water stream and mountain. Will definitely stay there again. Also close to the sandstone church that has service on Sunday mornings.

Stunning rooms, beautiful views and close to town centre.
Meander Stay's self-catering units are beautiful and well appointed. The view of the mountain is breathtaking and just outside our unit was the gate to a variety of hiking trails. The route is very beautiful to look at by the residents.
Everything is in great condition and tidy, and the beautiful garden and quick access to the town is a safe place. Hostess is very helpful and makes an effort to make sure you have a good time.
We had a delightful stay with Madeleine who is a great host and has thought of everything when equipping the apartments. The area is quiet, safe, just a short walk from the shops and restaurants and right next to the conservancy for those who would like to explore the beautiful area. There is a park run in the conservancy on a Saturday morning which one can join in on. I would highly recommend Meander Stay!

It's the little things that make a big difference, the fresh milk, cherries and Clarens beer in the fridge on arrival. Warm, friendly care. Summer in Clarens was breathtakingly beautiful. The hiking trails are rest for the soul.
The location is idyllic and perfect. Quiet and peaceful and walking distance to all the shops. The walking paths are exceptional, not to mention the mountain view. Amazing hospitality, way more than expected with everything we needed and more for a week's heavenly stay. The animals are very special and steal one's heart immediately. Wish we could have stayed longer and would return anytime.
Quiet location but so close to town centre that we never bothered with the car. The only minor detraction is the WiFi connection was very poor so ended up relying on cellular data which did have very good reception.

We were very hospitably welcomed. Just felt at home. Accommodation meets requirements and very cute porch with built-in gas grill from which the view is beautiful looking at the mountain with beautiful trees.
It was one of those best weekends away for us. My cousins and I are very close, and discovered this wonderful place. It is far enough from the town that the hustle and bustle does not disturb you, but close enough that you can reach anywhere within 10 minutes on foot. It is peaceful, clean, warm and the ideal resting place with the most beautiful view of the mountains from the veranda. Located at the foot of a mountain, it provides hiking trails right on your doorstep. Really a wonderful place. Madeleine is so welcoming and friendly, she really "spoiled" us, as the English say, with wood for the fireplace, milk in the fridge, a tin full of biscuits and enough blankets for Africa. We really enjoyed it, it was honestly rest for the soul.
We had a great time with our dog who enjoyed it with us, walking distance to shops, restaurants and art galleries. Hiking trails literally on the back porch. Cottage very well furnished with lovely fireplace and warm blankets.

Just a few tips for future guests: 1. The kitchen needs some crockery (especially glasses). 2. The kitchen also needs a broom and more dish soap. 3. More toilet paper is required for 4 guests for 3 nights. 4. Builders across the road made us feel uncomfortable, to the point where we had to close the curtain because they were staring into our room while we were fixing up. We understand the owner has nothing to do with it, just wanted to bring it to their attention. We enjoyed this little place so much, it was such a pleasure to stay at Meander stay! The board games were so fun!
