Excellent location, quiet but only a few steps away from the beach. Everything you need for a luxurious short stay!
My hubby and I needed a quick little staycation and the Melkboss Inn was just perfect. We had everything we needed, close to shops and within walking distance from the beach. We will definitely be back in summer with the family!

The location is awesome. Upon arrival, I was very happy. I saw not many issues. When it came to the evening, we noticed the air conditioning was broken. We also chose this specific place because of the beautiful bath, but there was a sign next to the bath that said please don't use the bath and rather shower. This was shocking to me as we are paying to rent the place and now cannot have a bath. The tap was also leaking, and there is black mould from moisture on the ceilings in the passage and in the bathroom. Upon communication with the owner, he just moved us to the unit next door and said he would get someone to repair the defects noticed in that one. Straight after, the next day, someone else had come to stay in the unit.

Me and my wife enjoyed our stay very much. We walked to the beach from the house, about a 200-meter walk.
We really enjoyed our stay. Was nice and close for a sunset walk on the beach and easy access to the roads.

The place has a beautiful pool and nice lapa. Unfortunately there is no pot or stove. For a self-catering unit, we expected better.
Would suggest installing a door between room and bathroom.
We slept there for 4 nights. Fantastically equipped with facilities. Walking distance to the beach and perfectly located to go to Cape Town and the West Coast and more. The braai facilities are cleaned daily. Clean and tidy. What does change or is lacking is a toilet door that can close which gives one more privacy. Furthermore, I will definitely sleep there again.

Fantastic living experience, unit is large enough to provide all holiday needs for 2 people, the kitchenette area is well equipped for the typical holidaymaker, ample storage and hanging space for clothes and other things that come together. The nice part of Melk'Bos and the other units is the availability of a nice braai area with swimming pool and enough wood to broaden your experience at the sea. Although not a direct sea view, one is literally just around the corner from the beach, a nice enough morning and evening walk on the beautiful clean, white beaches of Melkbosstrand.
If peace, quiet, tranquility and privacy is what you're looking for then definitely recommend.

The place is all that is advertised on the website. What we liked the most is the privacy, the host is not in your company all the time and we already forgot there are other people around the corner. And their puppy is adorable!
