Lovely stay in the Pophuis! Nice for overnight stay. Hostess gives personal attention and the place has everything you need for an overnight stay. Love the decor and the outdoor barbecue area is fantastic with lots of wood!

Excellent place to stay, very clean and tidy, very well equipped and in a very quiet and peaceful environment. The hostess is very nice! One of our units has been upgraded to a larger unit at no additional cost! It was not at our request and was a nice surprise for us! I recommend the stay with pleasure! They deserve the 5 stars we gave above!
We really enjoyed our stay and would stay at Merlot La Mer again anytime. The unit was clean and tidy and nicely decorated. We spent some time with Linda and Sakkie and had such a nice chat. The location at the golf course is perfect and quiet dead end street. The garden and barbecue area are also very beautiful. I hope to see you again soon.

Linda is a lovely host, and the room we stayed in, called The Doll's House, is so quirky and special with all its interesting paint techniques and murals, and clever use of hardware.

The accommodation was exactly as advertised plus even more with a great braai area that we didn't know about, even our friends who live in Stilbaai were surprised by the decor and layout of the cottage.

Die gasvrou het uit haar pad gegaan om vir my die aanwysings na die B&B te gee en sy het 'n goeie restaurant aanbeveel. Die uitleg was goed en my kamer het sy eie ingang gehad. Die ontbyt was heerlik.
It was by far the most beautiful stopover we visited on our vacation. Linda's eye for detail is incredible in the accommodation, it's like going on a discovery tour to see everything! The breakfast was also out of the top shelves. We plan to stay longer next time.
