The guest house has 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, a single bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, and the third bedroom has a double bed. These 2 bedrooms share the second bathroom with a bath, shower and separate toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a stove an oven and also features a dishwasher. The lounge has comfortable seating as well as a TV. Unfortunately there is no DStv and the TV is not a smart-TV. Guests can bring their own USB-stick or the cable to link with a laptop. WiFi are available. There are indoor braai facilities as well as an 8-seater dining room table.
The Hops Hollow Beer Brewery is approximately 10 km from the farm, or guests can enjoy a breakfast at Misty Mountain Hotel. Close by towns include Sabie, Graskop and Pelgrimsrus. Dullstroom is also close by and is a lovely small town to make a day trip to.

12 guests' feedbackMistyridge is a farmhouse on the Longtom Pass with a beautiful view. The house is well equipped and for the cold winter evenings there is enough wood for the fireplace and for braai! The children had a good time catching fish at the pond within walking distance of the house. There are places close enough to the farm to have a nice breakfast and do activities. We had a problem with water, but at least the farm worker was able to sort it out fairly quickly.
We really enjoyed the space, the house, the sunsets and the surroundings. It is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. We would definitely recommend Mistyridge Guesthouse.
We had a great time at Mistyridge. Thank you Jakkie and family for receiving us so kindly, as well as for the delicious wines and biscuits. The rooms are very comfortable, with lovely warm blankets, both bathrooms have a shower and bath with more than enough hot water. We really enjoyed the lovely view with the most beautiful sunsets on the comfortable sofas and relaxed well. There is everything you could possibly need available in the house. It can easily accommodate a large family or circle of friends. We felt very safe and left our motorbike outside with peace of mind. We would love to visit Mistyridge again.
It's lovely to stay there. You are directly part of the farm operations and will sometimes come across a horse or a sheep on the farm. Their farming operations are very interesting and I would love to go on a tour to see how the farm is progressing. There is a lovely view and plenty of ponds to fish in and definitely 4x4 tracks. There is also game on the farm. In short, I am delighted is the beautiful wooden house. The house is always spotless! My husband will walk around the farm for hours.
Unfortunately it was not properly cleaned, some of the facilities did not work as indicated. But it is a beautiful farm and very friendly residents.
We would love to go again. The house is wonderfully spacious and tidy. The bedding is very nice and good quality. The children enjoyed the mountainous parts so much. We had a nice walk and enjoyed farm animals. It's really so very nice here. Beautiful view!
Because it is located on a farm, there are a lot of flies. Additionally provides to control flies.
We enjoyed our time at Mistyridge. Nature is very beautiful and we rested well. The house is very comfortable, clean and cosy with the fireplace. The house is also well equipped with everything one needs. Jakkie and Loané and children are also very hospitable. Thanks also for the rusks and bottle of wine.
We had such a nice time on the farm. The view is breathtaking, the house is clean, tidy and you have everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is an incredible amount to do and see in the area. Definitely want to visit again.
We spent a great weekend on the farm. Jakkie and his family were so accommodating. I can definitely recommend this to anyone looking for some time off. Be warned, if you're going on the potato seed tour, you will want to start farming yourself!
Hospitality and good service made this experience just superb! Very good option for a weekend away and an enjoyable farm stay.
The accommodation is very well equipped in terms of kitchenware, bedding and modern amenities. The coffee and wine as a welcome gift, as well as a lovely fireplace were the nice extras! And the view together with the owners' friendliness was wonderful.
