I will definitely go again. I just wanted to spend the night - but the environment did my tired mind and body good - absolutely safe and caring. It is self-catering - with a friendly delicious hot coffee, tea and biscuit - platinum service. Blessings to them - always.

Grotto Bay offers a West Coast experience less than an hour's drive from the Cape. It is a beautiful holiday spot and not as noisy as Langebaan etc. not. Molly Hawk Place is the ideal place to call home. Clean, tidy, walking distance from the sea and Dan and Alta are certainly some of the best hosts I have ever come across. Was a lovely experience.

Lovely, quiet surroundings and a stone's throw from the sea. The roar of the waves is torment for the soul. Accommodation is very neat and well furnished. Alta and Dan made us feel welcome. Hospitality is much appreciated.

It was a very homey little guesthouse attached to a main house. The hots were very hospitable. It was very quiet and peaceful and in walking distance to the pebble beach.
Accommodation was clean as a whistle, everything you need for a beach break was readily available and the hosts were extremely accommodating and kind in every way. Salt of the earth!
Perfect getaway, so close to Cape Town, great accommodation, miles of unspoilt, uninhabited coastline. Very hospitable hosts, all we could need in the unit. We'll be back - as would anyone who'd been there! Safe environment for kids.
Alta displays what it is to be hospitable. The little things that make a difference like having chocolate`s on the bed and milk in the fridge. Also her knowledge of the Grotto Bay
In our effort to find suitable accommodation in the vicinity of Darling for flower viewing, we came across accommodation in Molly Hawk Place. The environment is fantastic and very safe. However, the stay was not 100% what we expected. It is definitely not suitable for more than two adults. The steep stairs to the upper level are definitely not for the elderly and should be highlighted. The hosts were initially wonderfully friendly and helpful, but everything changed on the last day when we left with an inexplicable anxiety from our hosts that we would leave without settling our bill. It left a bit of a bad taste and made us feel like crooks.
