Excellently furnished with exactly what is needed in a beautiful and peaceful setting.
The place was clean, well-stocked with all that you need. Little things that were added like shower gel, hand cream, etc. and a chocolate on the beds make it more special. The ice machine was a definite plus. The place was all that you need to go and relax. The fishing was also good, 32 black bass were landed. The biggest was +- 1.5 kg. 2 yellow fish and 2 grass carp were also landed, biggest yellow was +- 3 kg and biggest grass carp was +- 2 kg.
We had a really wonderful stay. It is extremely peaceful and so lovely to see wildlife in the distance. The place has everything you need and had been very thoughtfully equipped. The host gave very good and clear instructions and directions so it was a pleasure arriving there. The photos are a completely accurate depiction of exactly what is there, which is rare and fantastic.
Clean. Easy and convenient. Everything one needs. I will definitely visit Mooirand Damhuis again.
What an absolutely wonderful place, it truly is a hidden gem! We loved everything about Mooirand Damhuis, from the start to the end of this trip. The communication with the owners was incredible, they were so helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much. The house itself is a hidden treasure. Literally hidden in the 'valley', you feel safe and cosy. We were lucky enough to enjoy both sunshine and torrential rainy weather, when the sun shone the kids swam, fished, flew their kites, and played gleefully outside. When it rained, they still swam and fished but well also enjoyed time just chilling by the fireplace. It was a wonderful experience, I would highly recommend this venue and to top it all off, the bedding was incredibly lush! Go, don't hesitate, you will not be disappointed.

Damhuis is located on a large bass pond and it's lovely to wake up in the morning and look out over the pond. Has all the facilities needed. Can definitely recommend and we will definitely visit again.

The Mooirand Damhuis has everything you need to enjoy the weekend way with friends. It is extremely peaceful and the stars on a clear night are magnificent. The space is beautifully appointed and had everything we needed. The indoor braai on a cold winters evening is wonderful and we will definitely be back.
Perfect getaway away from the hustle and bustle. All you need to take with you is food and good company.
Will go there again to see wildlife.
Incredibly clean and tidy. Everything you need is there. View is beautiful. Thank you Rona for your kindness. Recommend the place for sure. We were 4 adults, we absolutely cannot highlight one negative point. Everything was perfect. We are definitely going again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the dam house. We were 5 young people without children and could sit on the veranda, have a barbecue and enjoy the wildlife. The interior decoration is very nicely done and the house is nicely furnished. Each room has its own bathroom, the beds sleep wonderfully and there was just mentioned hot water for everyone. Would highly recommend it. We could drive the short dirt road with our Polo TDi, even in the rain.
