For those who do not want to cater for themselves, there is a restaurant where one can order sumptuous meals. Dinners are a 3-course set menu and need to be booked 24 hours in advance. Activities include mountain biking, canoeing, hiking, bird-watching and swimming in the river. In addition to the opportunities for hiking and swimming on the property, Mount Ceder Kareeboom is also within driving distance of many other Cederberg attractions and various 4x4 routes.

1 guests' feedbackWe had such a nice stay at Mount Ceder Kareeboom. The staff received us kindly, the house was very clean and everything in its place. Time passed so slowly we didn't want to pack up to drive. We will definitely go back with our friends.

There is no cell phone reception at Mount Ceder. The closest service is 30 km away; where the gravel road ends on your way to Mount Ceder. Free Wi-Fi access is only available at the reception building and restaurant area.
Please note that there is a gravel road about 35 km long when coming from Ceres direction, and 85km long from Citrusdal direction leading to the establishment. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
