It is a cattle farm that also offers guest accommodation in 2 cabins, 2 cottages, The farmhouse and Caravan and camping sites. About 40 hectares of the farm's surface is covered by natural forest, where the rare tree dassie resides. You might be lucky enough to hear their distinctive call at night. The rest of the farm consists of mountains, a large natural wetland, and some timber and grasslands.
The Logger Route, Dassie Route, Loeries Flight, Porcupine Crawl, and Leopard's Leap are exciting hiking trails on the farm.

Suggest a small table or bedside table between 2 beds to place small things that may be needed during the night.
I enjoyed myself immensely and although I am not very fit, I was able to walk through the gorge to the top of the mountain. The view is fantastic, even if you only go half way up the mountain! There are several hiking trails that offer something for everyone. The facilities were clean and tidy. There was fast and friendly service at the reception and the restaurant, and everyone makes you feel at home. I will definitely visit again.
It was amazing, suitable to our agenda to complete paintings. Spacious and comfortable. Just needs heaters; it would be a bonus.
I had a great time camping. The facilities were clean, tidy with plenty of hot water. It was great to have several hiking trails to choose from.
We stayed in the safari tent. Very nice kitchen facilities. The place is very neat. There are also some hiking trails and you can also sit quietly by the dam.
It's a fantastic idea and setup. The Caravan is comfortably equipped with a complete tent and braai facilities. The owners are very hospitable and go out of their way to accommodate you. The ablution facilities are spotless. There is a convenient "tab" option so that what you buy at the restaurant or the convenience store is only paid for at the end when you check out.
The tents basically have nothing in them. Never again!
We enjoyed the farm visit so much, it was very peaceful, with the most beautiful views of the mountains, and the beautiful gardens. We will definitely go there again. We had a great time.

A lot of effort is put in to entertain small children. We have three young children and they were never bored. They could also roam free and experience nature on their own terms. Everything was well thought of and practical. This is the perfect family destination away from the city's hustle and bustle!
A family friendly place with a dam for the old fisherman and a beautiful playground for the young ones to enjoy themselves.

The accommodation was clean and tidy. It is located at the foot of the mountain which is beautiful and the pond where you can fish is right in front of your door. Very peaceful environment that is blissful.

We stayed in the Sprite Caravan and it was very clean and neat. Unisex ablution facilities. This was a bit weird. Other than that we had a nice time. Huge increase in price and I don't know why.
Our stay was wonderful. The gardens are indescribably beautiful! The owners really made us feel at home, and I can highly recommend the breakfast at their restaurant. Really value for money. Just one request and that is that the sofa bed in the living room please. be replaced with a more comfortable sleeping option. Unfortunately we didn't get time to do the hiking trails, hope to do so on our next visit. Thank you very much!
It was very nice, everyone enjoyed it.
It was so bad that after one day there we had to incur the additional expense of going on holiday in another place. We only go on vacation once a year and didn't get a chance to spend a week there. Our greatest unhappiness was about the dirtiness of the carpet and the sleeper couch in particular. We cringed to think that our twins had to sleep on the sleeper couch.
Would love to go again. Service was great. Good value for money. Well maintained garden and campsite. Safe. I went for a walk alone in the forest and did not feel unsafe in any way.
The owners and farm manager Robson were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The gardens and surroundings were breathtaking and we enjoyed hiking on the property. Our chalet was good value for money for our family of four. We will definitely go back there. The birdlife in the area was spectacular too.
This place is so well equipped, air-conditioning helped with some heat. The sleeper couch wasn't very comfortable, the bottom part is is very hard and hurts your rib cage. Otherwise we had a great weekend. You feel safe and it is very relaxing without a TV and in nature. When it started snowing we knew we were in for a treat! Just freezing, but wonderful.
Wow, what an awesome place for a large group, the farm house is quite something. The fireplaces was GREAT and kept us all warm and cozy. Robson was super. We loved our stay. Thank you.
We received very friendly, efficient and helpful service. It is clean, tidy and the unit was well equipped to comfortably cook etc. It is about 30 minutes' easy drive from the N3. Even the dirt road is not too bad (no need for a 4x4!). We were very satisfied and would love to holiday there again to get quiet and rest! Thank you very much Mount Park Guest Farm!

Accommodation: it was nicely decorated and big enough for 4 people. The house has everything one needs to be able to stay comfortably and peacefully. The surroundings and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Calm for the soul. It is also well located to visit other places in the Dargle Valley on the Midlands Meander as well. One can even go to the sea for a day.
Our second time. Camped the first time. Last time in the cabin. Enjoyed camping more. Cabins are a bit small for 4. Stunning area. We will be back.

We had a very nice holiday. The place is well maintained and has very friendly people working there. The service is excellent. The only problem is the Yellowood Cottage is a bit small for 5 people.
We were there only 1 night. So not really in a position to give a good review. Our cottages were comfortable and clean. The stove didn't work in cabin 2. The one cottage's hot water hadn't been switched on.
The campsite was very nice and clean, we also felt safe. It is on a FARM and I really appreciated the silence. We saw 120 birds there and in the area.
