Our stay at Naftali was incredibly pleasant. Surine goes to great lengths to make you feel welcome. Naftali has a beautiful location, is very affordable and offers lots of extra treats such as fruit juice, biscuits and yoghurt. The sunrise is breathtaking.

I wish we could give 7 stars to Naftali. It was a lovely experience and one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. It feels like the guest house just to make people feel welcome on their farm and provide a good time, because nothing was too much trouble and there were more little "treats" and things to make you feel special than I have seen at any other accommodation.

It was the best experience of my life. The horses and the beautiful view make you relax, and it's a beautiful place, a home away from home. Peu and Surine are the friendliest people and welcome you with open arms.

The ultimate in hosting guests. Friendly, caring and sincere. The accommodation is 5-star and priced very affordably. This was our last stop before heading back to Gauteng and will probably become our first stop, or we would even spend a long weekend there. The Friesian horses were a real treat. To see the host share their passion warmed our hearts as we were treated like family. The eye for decor, art and hosting skills are 5-star. The views and peacefulness are second to none. It is a destination that you must visit; you'll come back and thank me.

Naftali Guest Farm is a working farm which has been created by the hosts over 40 years. The accommodation is 5-star, and the pictures represent the accommodation, but they do not show the setting on a hill overlooking vines (well, it is Upington). Gardens with flowers and herbs are well-tended. Stables, horses and carriages fit for royalty, which would fit into Windsor with ease, are a 200m walk away. It deserves a YouTube video as a few words cannot relate to our appreciation. Please go visit, you will come away with a glow for what can be accomplished in South Africa by warm and honest folk.

Naftali is a particularly neat piece of land between Upington and Keimoes. There are too many to mention! We were welcomed with open arms, the unit is beautiful! Furnished with love, beautiful flowers placed everywhere. Extremely beautiful with lovely linen and freshly picked lavender bush on the bed! There were delicious treats and the fridge had enough goodies for a breakfast. The 2 carafes of ice cold water with fresh mint leaves were so welcome after our long journey. It was lovely to relax by the pool which is located just a few steps from the unit. We ordered dinner which was delivered on time, on a silver tray and beautifully served with vegetables and the most beautiful exquisite dessert. Next time we stay longer! Thank you for making us, especially my sister, feel so special.
It was the best decision to stay a little out of the mix during our trip. The photos created an expectation and were everything we hoped to experience during our stay. The unit was tastefully furnished with "detail" and very comfortable. It felt like home even though we were far from home. Thank you for your hospitality and concern, it is still rarely experienced in today's hectic life.
One of the nicest places I've ever slept. Surine and Pue are really warm people and went out of their way to make my stay easy and enjoyable even though I was there for a short time.

Apart from the extremely neat, clean and stylishly furnished residential unit, the accommodation and reception were top notch. Extra treats such as bouquets, sweets, barbecue wood and the privilege of being able to pick fresh herbs were unexpected and so appreciated. The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners is unbeatable.
I would recommend the guest house to anyone anytime. Not only was it affordable but what we got was excellent. Not 10 out of 10 but definitely 12 out of 10 in my opinion.
You get a lot more than you expect. You could easily spend a week or more here.
