This is a gem of a place we do not want to share. It is one of the most best value for money gems of Harrismith. We were greeted by the friendly host and felt as if we were part of long lost friends visiting for the day. Yvette is the owner, she manages and keeps the property in an immaculate homely environment. We will recommend this home away from home to anyone who needs a rest after a long trip on the road.
On the way to the South Coast slept over there for one night and again on the way back, friendly reception and really pleasant to be able to sleep there, down to earth people.

Good stopover on the way to the sea. Everything is clean and tidy. We were received very kindly.
Yvette was professional, friendly and very helpful. The room was spotless and, although small, sufficient for our needs. The kitchenette has appliances like a microwave oven and kettle and basic cutlery and crockery. Coffee, tea and long-life milk were available. Not equipped for extensive cooking, though. There are however enough places nearby to order or get good take-away meals. The close proximity to the N3 can be a disturbance for people who prefer a quiet(er) environment or who tend to be light sleepers. Parking is secure and under cover, close to the room, which is at the back of the main house. For the security-conscious, the external light that works on a day-night switch gives good lighting and visibility at night. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and affordable stay.
Yvette, the hostess, is really friendly and we immediately felt at home. The place is small, but everything necessary is there. The place is neat and clean and we immediately forgot about the long drive up there. We decided to braai on the spur of the moment and Yvette provided us with enough wood for heat and braai. I don't easily stay in the same place, but here I will come again. Thanks for everything, your place is cute and beautiful!
