He made the drive interesting and wonderful, always willing to answer all the questions and gave us time to take pictures, Nyalaland Safari Lodge is very fortunate to have Joseph on their team.

When it rains, the dirt road is muddy and washed away. Allow yourself enough time to get there. The gardens are beautiful at this stage and the grass very well cared for. The room is well furnished, but the bed (double bed unit) is small. I'm 2m tall and it was a bit tight for us. Know that there is no cell phone reception and that the WiFi only works at the main building when there is power. (They have generator).
The recent visit to Nyalaland in one of the thatched chalets had been a special experience. Nyalaland has an excellent management team and everything runs like a well-oiled machine. With such a team, the result can only be good. The Chalet was very neat and clean as well as with beautiful gardens and lawns. We could enjoy the nice walking routes in the beautiful nature between the trees and mountains. If peace and quiet is what you need, Nyalaland is the destination you should visit, with very friendly and helpful staff to make your stay pleasant. We will definitely go back again. Thank you very much Nyalaland!

There was an electrical problem which was beyond their control, but the staff did their best in that situation. Apart from the gravel, it's worth it!
Site beautiful and well maintained. Could drive around the farm and walk to enjoy nature. Units have everything needed. No loadshedding, there is a generator. Saw a lot of wildlife.
The workers were so considerate and friendly, kept the place clean every day.
Enjoyed the stay thoroughly. However, my mind was troubled not by the gravel road, but by the fact that these lovely animals (nyalas) are used as hunting targets in the name of recreation. How sad that such innocent lives have to be sacrificed for human pleasures! Makes one think as to how we as humans are never at peace.
The host Tshede was extremely helpful and friendly, Rickus even accommodated the Rugby match without signal and were kind enough to inform us about hunting to take place on the farm without interfering our stay. The game drive with Joseph is a must. Will definitely be back.
