37 guests' feedbackNile River Bush Camp is a very nice, clean and safe campsite and close to the N1 on the way to Tzaneen or the northern Kruger Park. I can highly recommend it. It is ideal for an overnight stay or a weekend by the water.

What a beautiful peaceful place! Truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever camped. We had a good rest, went hiking, cycling, fishing and playing in the river. There is also a really fun bike course with obstacles! Our children were out of their skin. Absolutely value for money. Unfortunately, there were only campers who played very loud music, but at least they were silenced by the security. They took a good look at us! The ablution blocks are very neat and there was always hot water. Sorry the rowing boats were broken. But other than that it was a lovely time!

Beautiful next to the dam/river. Ospreys call too beautifully. Ablution goats nicely decorated with benches and lots of heels. A little too many long-legged spiders.

Spectacular view from our camp site! We had an awesome stay. Plug points were working, ablutions great.
This is a lovely campground. Some attention could be paid to spiders in the bathroom and grass around the barbecue areas. Everything else was comfortable. You do hear the road, but with a pair of earplugs we were able to muffle it.
Unfortunately the bathrooms were not kept clean. It was unpleasant to use the bathrooms. The walking route was very nice to do.
Nice birdwatching, nice stand under trees, nice view, good facilities but cold water shower first night, solved next day and shower floors were dirty. The traffic on the R 101 can be disruptive depending on how the wind blows.
It was very nice, caught 5 nice fish. Bathrooms are neat, I loved the beautiful nature. Very nice swimming in the river.
It was an incredible weekend in nature. The children could keep themselves busy with fishing, swimming and cycling. I would definitely go camping there again.

Was an oasis and well located just off the N1 on the way from Cape to northern parts of the Kruger Game Park. Highly recommend.
Went camping with my wife and child. Pitches are marked and very tidy. Cleanest ablution facilities I have seen in a long time. Would definitely go again.
As always, everything is nice and clean, campsites with nice coolness, tranquility and peace, would recommend the place to anyone who wants to rest his soul.

We had a great time camping and will definitely visit Nile River Bush Camp again. The ablution facilities are clean and tidy.
Pleasantly surprised. Neat, clean, with a beautiful view over the water.
We were kindly welcomed by a groundsman (Kong) who is incredibly helpful, he was very friendly and ready to help. Very neat ablution pads. Nice hiking trail to do. Unfortunately you can hear the busy N1 highway from the campsites, but it didn't bother. Had a good time fishing.

We really enjoyed the pond - caught fish the very first morning. Kids had fun swimming and there are swings too which was a bonus. Bathrooms are incredibly neat and really a pleasure to go to. Be aware that the trees that provide shade are mostly thorn trees so shoes with decent soles are a must! And bring cash for ice and wood. The electricity only works with caravan plugs, but if you don't have them they rent them out too - remember your cash!
Nile River Bush Camp is an affordable and very neat campsite. Ablution is very neat. Campsites are neatly laid out. Arrive on time to avoid a camp leak in the sun. The wind blew particularly hard. Will come again if we know the wind blows calmer.
The campsite is very neat and beautiful. The ablution blocks are always clean with everything needed. However, it would make the experience better if you could book your pitch in advance, because some campers may only leave for the weekend after work and thus miss out on some of the best pitches. Furthermore, it would also be good if the grills and the rubbish were cleaned on a daily basis. We will for sure book again on a next occasion.
We were supposed to stay 3 nights, ended up only staying 2 as you can't really catch fish with all the grass in the dam. Overall, it's a really nice and clean place, I was just completely put off that we couldn't catch fish due to it being impossible.
Your campsite was a gem to discover. We really enjoyed the visit with you and had a chance to rest wonderfully.
We went camping as friends. It was one of the nicest campsites we've ever been to. The ablution is clean and beautiful. The comb places have everything you need. There are nice hiking trails and the birdlife is enough to keep you busy for hours.
We really enjoyed our stay. The camping site is neat and thoroughly equipped. The ambulatory facilities are 5 star. There is plenty of bird life and cool trees. The river's water is clean and suitable for fishing. The main road (R101) traffic can be heard, but didn't really bother us. Thank you very much for letting us stay there.
