Situated along the Piesang River, guests visiting the estate can enjoy a picnic, a stroll on the boardwalk or fish. Our relatively warm waters are the perfect playground for the whales to mate and calve, and we are fortunate to be able to view these magnificent creatures from land and boat. Schools of playful dolphins can regularly be seen surfing the waves off the local beaches. There are boat-based tours available as well as marine safaris which provide a chance to see these gentle giants up close.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. The swimming pool right in the backyard of the house was perfect and private. The only negative comment that we have is about the beds: they were uncomfortable and the frames were noisy when one moves on them. Other than that, it was a delightful stay.
We had a great stay and the unit is really excellent - very clean, tidy and everything available. Would stay here again anytime!

Ocean Pearl offers everything one needs for a comfortable visit. The geyser capacity maybe a bit small for 5 cyclists who all want to rush towards each other, but otherwise everything was perfect. Safe, centrally located, and very tidy. Would definitely recommend it, and hopefully stay here again soon.

Ocean Pearl is centrally located and places of interest are easily accessible. The apartment was comfortable. We appreciated having amenities such as a washing machine and Netflix. The resort is well maintained. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free.
Very conveniently located, close to the sea, water recreation, gym, large shopping centers, petrol stations and even a convenient gym within walking distance. You can't ask for better.
Nice comfortable place. Nice play and swimming place for the children. And the tennis court a bonus. Was expecting the beach a little closer as it shows in photos. But a little walk is good. All amenities are available. Except a joke. The people of Plettenberg are a bit grumpy in general. Except for the security people at the gate. They greeted and laughed every day. We who come from the farm still greet each other every day.
The place had everything you needed and more. Super clean, kids loved the garden private pool tennis courts. Would come back in a heartbeat recommend to all. Thanks once again to Melanie and her family for taking such good care of us will be booking it again soon. Best value for money in Plett would not stay anywhere else location privacy and lots to do.

We planned this holiday with 3 big boys, all three over 18 years and Mustique 3 was really perfect for our family. Although it rained all week in Plet, we spent every bit of time at the tennis and squash courts. Everything was in Melanie's place, even tennis and squash rackets and balls. The place was clean and tidy and there was absolutely no shortage. Melanie was very helpful and we could contact her any time of the day. We will definitely book there again and recommend it for families who just want to get away and enjoy time together. Thank you so much Melanie!
We were pleasantly surprised with the location and facilities of The River Club. Mustique 3 was well equipped with beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels as well as tennis rackets and board games. Mustique 3 is ideal for any family holiday near the sea. There is access to tennis courts and a swimming pool in The River Club itself, as well as access to a private pool available to the Mustique units. The unit was clean and tidy on arrival and the key agreement was convenient and simple. The owner is very helpful and keeps you informed of cool events in the area.
It was fantastic, place was neat and excellent, parties involved including owner were helpful, considerate and supportive.
It is easy to be critical, but some things which may be worth noting. The unit is smaller than the pictures made us believe, but the open door to the patio made up for this in the living area specifically. DSTV: I recall the apartment saying it has DSTV - It does not. It has a smart TV and some connection (not sure if ADSL or Fibre, but it was slow) which requires a log on to live DSTV. The screening was disrupted (sometimes spinning for connection), we could not use Catch Up or play any movies which was frustrating and something guests should be warned about. Bed in Main room: I think it was a standard double with a metal frame at the bottom which for me at 6ft 2 inches required me to stick my feet through the bars or curl up. Ideally a queen should be be recommended and owners encouraged to not have bed frames at the bottom of the beds which just makes it feel cramped and small. Close to entrance. Whilst is was easy to get in and out the complex, we found being close to the entrance an issue. We could hear the traffic from the road alongside the complex, cars in and out of the gate and people playing tennis in the morning around seven-ish. Pool for the residents: This was a nice feature to have the specific area just for residents and the pool. Mosquitoes: We noticed them on first day so bought mosquito plugs - maybe the plugs were in the apartment, but something in summer to consider providing or advising guests.
Children could enjoy riding bikes around the estate. Always felt safe. Pool and tennis court use was bonus! Owner Melanie very helpful and available! Thank you very much!

The complex is conveniently located close to shopping centres and restaurants. 24/7 complex security was also very friendly and helpful. Hostess was out of the country (but stayed in contact via Whatsapp) but her parents were warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in Plett.
Value for money. Clean, tidy and very comfortable.
We were four people who stayed in Mustique for four nights. Facilities were everything I expected and we didn't need for anything. The hostess made an effort to send me information about things to see and do in the area, among others. the Wednesday market at Old Nick which I would never see otherwise. It's easy and safe to walk to the nearest beach, restaurants or shops (difficult time of year for parking in Plett). The complex has its own private pool which was very nice although we could have used the River Club's large pool and sports facilities if we wanted to. It is quite close to the main road coming into Plett but we never heard any traffic. Very peaceful with friendly hosts and complex security. My only criticism would be that the outdoor furniture was not very comfortable and this one of the few units without a reclining chair or two. .For the price and the position especially during the high summer season I would recommend it for sure.
